Cross Creek RV Park

Cross Creek RV Park operates seasonally from mid-April through November on 70 acres in Eldon, Missouri, with sites accommodating RVs up to 55 feet. The campground provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, with nightly rates ranging from $40 to $199. Reservations are available for the facility's mix of RV sites and tent camping areas.

The property centers around an 8-acre private stocked lake where campers can fish directly from the shoreline or rent boats and paddle boats on-site. "Campground had private lake with boat rentals, mini golf pool," notes Martin J., describing his lakeside site just 30 yards from the water. Activities include miniature golf, shuffleboard, volleyball, and a playground, plus hiking trails and a general store. The facility features a swimming pool and allows campfires and pets throughout the grounds.

Access requires navigating a steep gravel road that multiple reviewers describe as challenging, with potholes and washout areas that can be difficult for larger RVs. Some campers report the road conditions as problematic enough to affect their stay plans. The campground includes unique tent camping on an island site with its own restroom facilities. For those wanting different accommodations, Majestic Oaks RV Park & Campground sits just over a mile northwest with easier road access.

Numerous guests pointed out excellent amenities including a private lake, pool, and family activities with friendly staff maintaining clean facilities. However, some visitors expressed disappointment with the extremely poor access road conditions that caused at least one family to leave.

DONT STAY HERE

The road to get in and out of this place is absolutely ridiculous. You can try to go 1mph to avoid potholes or washed out area just to hit the next pothole and washed out area. Dont make the mistake we made! Read all the Google reviews (including the 5 star ones which also complain about the road)  i stopped counting after 25.. that explains alot about how much the owners care. The road was so bad we took a loss on the money and stayed elsewhere. Id rather loose out on a few hundred then damage my vehicle getting in and out of this place multiple times during my stay.

Favorite Campground @ Lake of the Ozarks

It’s my favorite place to stay at the lake of the ozarks! I love the atmosphere and friendly staff and other campers. Stayed here with other friends and families several times. Always clean and cared for. Nice outdoor pool! Kids love the mini golf, shuffleboard, and basketball. Huge private lake great for fishing and watching duck families swim by and come up to you on the grass! And I always enjoy the evenings sitting by the campfire making memories with everyone.

Love the island

We tent camped on the island for 2 nights. It was awesome, you can fish right off the bank of your own private island within in minutes of waking up. Not as secluded as the other survivor tent site but really fantastic place. Had a restroom on the island, big plus for a family with 5 little ones. Some of the amenities were closed cause of the covid but a great place we will be coming back too.

Great vacation

Great experience. Access to camping ground was little difficult. It was gravel road but it was very steep hill (very common in this area). Campground had private lake with boat rentals, mini golf pool. Our site was maybe 30 yards from the water.
