The Homestead property has been in the family for over 85 years. Greg's Grandfather moved the family here during the Depression. They built the barn and ran a dairy farm to sustain the family. We are excited about starting a new life for the farm. We want to give people an opportunity to enjoy the area that we have loved our whole lives. We look forward to having you come stay, experience and enjoy The Homestead.

Really happy to be able to see some pictures of this lovely place, enjoying with family and pet is one of the most entertaining experience in life. Also have had a good time playing with the D2R items of my favourite video game. Will come back in this zone in the future.
Rolled up in the middle of the night. $10 cash in the box for a tent site. Clean bathroom with shower. Felt safe and fell asleep quickly with the sound of the creek next to our site. Would definitely stay again.
Simple beautiful park with the fall colors, plenty to due and see. Amazing fishing both trout and bass! Well maintained facilities in the park and friendly staff!

Came through on an evening in July to meet a buddy canoeing the misssissippi. This was easily the buggiest site we stayed in all summer. Mosquitos so thick we had to wear nets over our faces. Maybe we’re just sensitive about it, but it was hard to get anything done.

Nice, new rv park. Not far off I 94. Spent 1 night, but slept well due to no noise. Golf cart rentals, and trails from the park.
Would definitely recommend.
For established camping, this park is lovely and spots are spacious. The place is bumpin’ with people but trees provide some sense of privacy but large, louder group was definitely in our vicinity—we couldn’t enjoy the birdsongs as we’d have liked (over 150 species can be found here). Staying at Grass Lake, we might have been able to launch our paddleboards from our site, but would have been a little tricky. Energy was better spent on keeping a fire tended with onslaught of unavoidable mosquitoes. Also, park doesn’t permit burning of found woods in the pits…
We were in town for a weekend event and Andes RV Park was outstanding! Friendly service was in the easy check-in and checkout process. It has outstanding trails that they use in the winter time for cross-country skiing with tons of outdoor activities. Brand new restroom and shower facilities with laundry.
We stayed for a few nights during the State High School Trap Shoot. Crowds were expected and it was a busy area. Surprisingly quiet in the evening given how many people were there. Facilities were clean. Will stay there again for sure.
We arrived, checked it out and decided to leave. The grassy sites had recently been mowed, but were very muddy and right on top of each other. Lots of people fishing. We just felt exposed. Drive to Birch Lake State Forest instead.
This is a great state park. Group camping comes with its own bathroom building and shelter building with wood stove. The water is quite clean. Also there's even hot water in the bathroom.
A great place with numerous facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi Wave Executor and strong mobile service(Verizon). The office staff is very pleasant, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Nice to get it here. I know a little bit about this 'Games Lake County Park which is located on the east shore of Games Lake. Basically it is part of the “Norway chain of lakes,” which total 2,800 acres, and provides an excellent fish population. I'm sure that someone will enjoy this place a lot like playing boku casino games.
The linked website says this is a year round park. Called to make sure payment could be done after 5, which is when I found out that it’s in fact not open year round, even without hookups.
Very cute friendly town, laundromat within a few blocks away. Shower and bathroom facilities are brand new. Power at each site.
Stayed here for one night...All lots, (lots of lots), were level and had water & electric. Super easy check in... Would definitely stay again..
It is an active gun range so if shooting bothers you, may not be your place..
What a beautiful, peaceful sight in the woods next to the lake. Sit back and relaxing camping at it finest
Had so much fun. It was quiet. Close to the beach. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Front desk is amazing.
I stayed here as a boy, I stayed here with my kids. Now in a Class A RV it was bit tight getting in but still a nice heavily tree canopy. No room for starlink. Site are averagely spaced but blocked mostly by brush and trees. Its just minutes seconds from town and has access to the museum and L house across the street. Lots look like they might be muddy during a rain. tents would be an issue, though maybe better sites for tents I didn't see.
So many activities and clean shower and restrooms. Folks working here we very pleasant and personable. Only 4 stars we we stayed in their overflow which was asked for but it’s down the road outside of the park. It is within walking distance. It’s a little confusing as you park in grass behind some private houses. It was after they close and they left us a map and phone number for the manager if we had any questions.
Camped in site 81 in the Oak Ridge campground - this site was big enough for three tents, was nicely shaded and had great access to water and a bathroom w/shower. Was perfect for our group of 4. Saw a polite racoon that wandered into our campsite and then promptly left once we got it in our headlamps, we saw no evidence of its return once we turned in for the night.
Bugs at the camp site were minimal, a little heavier on the trail but nothing bug spray couldn't handle. Heard sites were very close at Lakeview so chose Oak Ride, but felt they were still pretty close and had many vehicles traveling on the one way drive from 10p until midnight. If you're a light sleeper or early to bed might be a challenge at this state park.
It was a short walk to the interpretive center and the Mt Tom trail. Beautiful views of the oak savannahs from the Mt Tom overlook and the big blue stem was just starting to fill out in the surrounding prairies. Swimming at Lake Andrew was fantastic and the beach was full of people enjoying the lake.
Overall a great park to spend a weekend at!
We stayed at the campground during the week, it was so relaxing and not a lot of campers out felt like we had the park to ourselves. Had a nice park area with playground, clear lake swimming area. We had a dog with so limited areas that pets can go. It was very enjoyable. Would recommend
Stopped in our 25ft RV to check out the campground and was told to get off the property if I wasn’t staying there. The owner was rude. Would not let us park and take our dogs out to the road (not on the property). Was the worst experience ever. Happy to leave.
We are a husband and wife with three kids, ages 14 11 and 10. We are earning our Boy Scouts bicycling merit badge. Direct access to the bike trail, tons to do for the kids when mom and dad were worn out. Bathrooms were beyond clean and modern. Amazing for a city camp. Lake is clean and warm. Perfect 10!!
Sites are very spacious, but some are pretty slanted. Beautiful area, just wish the campsites were closer to the beach.
