The oeners are rude inconsiderate twisted people.

After reading in other review locations peoples run-ins with the owner Jane and her husband, I'd stay far far away from their place. The word dictator comes to mind.

I came there to buy a camper from a seasonal person. I decided to stop by the office to ask about the deck the office has to move in order for me to drive the camper away. Having already driven 2.5 hours I wanted to avoid a second round trip if possible. Why the camper owner didn't already have this done is a good question or why he neglectfully dropped this on me 40 minutes away but be it as it may. I came into the main building, the owner Jane was not friendly or understanding. She instead suggested I could not buy the trailer until her friend looked at it first. That's right, it's not her trailer or her who placed the sale ad but she tried to manipulate and dictate the situation to suit her wants. I said it's a first come first serve sale, if I decide to buy it it's mine...she said no, everyone should be able to see it then go from there. I don't know what planet this lady came from to assert this. My mind was blown when she went further to say "you can't go onto a car dealers lot and buy and drive off with the vehicle that day." I'm like that is exactly how that works. Lol.

The owner lady Jane caggy and rudely insisted I stay at the office while she meet with the seller somewhere on the property. I knew exactly her intention was to try to convince the seller to sell to her friend and not me. I followed her, we got to the seller, she yelled at me for following and proceeded to do exactly what I thought she was going to do. Very twisted, inconsiderate, manipulate woman and her husband who showed up is no better. She even went so far as to suggest 'I jumped the line' (in reference to showing times). Unreal. She will create any alternative world to bring about what she wants. I previously scheduled the showing with the sellers wife, even had a cashier's check made out to the seller at their request but according to her I jumped the line.

From my experience and others I read, for sanity's sake avoid this place.

Decent campground

The person who checked us in wasn’t very informational about the amenities in the campground or how to get to them. One guy yelled at my son for trying to go into what looked like an outhouse( my wife and I were standing right next to him but he chose to yell at my kid instead of talk to us). Seems very geared toward the seasonal clients vs the weekenders. It has a nice beach and a small playground and the seasonal folks were very friendly. As far as the staff goes the only time they were friendly was when we checked out. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but who knows.
