Birch Lake Campsite

Accessible only by boat, Birch Lake Campsite requires paddlers to plan water-based transportation to reach this remote site. The campground costs $16-$22 per night and allows campfires for evening warmth and cooking.

Campers can fish directly from the shoreline, launch kayaks for lake exploration, or swim in the clear waters. One visitor noted beaver activity during their stay, with the animals creating ripples across otherwise calm water at dawn and dusk. The site provides a wilderness experience removed from road noise and vehicle traffic. For those preferring drive-in access, Horseshoe Island offers an alternative camping option with easier logistics.
