Ojibway Lake offers a small picnic area, a back down ramp, and 2 island back country campsites. The lake contains crystal clear waters and a variety of fish, including lake trout, walleye, bass and northern pike. Access to Triangle Lake is a short roller portage between Ojibway Lake and Triangle Lake. Triangle Lake also has 2 island back country campsites and fish including walleye, bass, and northern pike.
Reservation Info
Permits not required to travel or camp on Ojibway or Triangle Lakes. Permits are required year-round when entering the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, including North Kasishiwi River accessed by a portage on the southern shore of Triangle Lake. Free self-issue permits can be used for day use.

Directions
Ojibway and Triangle Lakes are 14 miles northeast of Ely. From Ely, take State Highway # 169 (Fernberg Road #18) east for 14 miles to Forest Road 1540. Turn right on Forest Road 1540 and travel 1/2 mile to the Ojibway Lake access. Triangle Lake is located across the lake and directly south of Ojibway Lake. Parking: Free overnight parking is available in the public boat launch.
