South Arm Knife Lake

Accessible only by boat, South Arm Knife Lake provides a remote camping experience in Minnesota's Boundary Waters region for $16-$22 per night. The established campground allows campfires and sits directly on the lake, giving campers immediate access to fishing, kayaking, and swimming opportunities.

One reviewer notes that while the site offers lake access and natural surroundings, it ranks among the less memorable spots compared to other Boundary Waters locations. For campers seeking a different boat-in experience, Gijikiki Lake sits roughly four miles north.

Pretty

It’s a pretty campsite but of all of our other campsites that we had stayed at this one was the least memorable and least pretty but if it was anywhere else it would easily be the best campsite but the boundary waters are just so pretty it makes the great campsites look mediocre
