Perch Lake Campground — Ottawa National Forest

Forest Service roads lead to this small campground on the shores of Perch Lake in Ottawa National Forest. The facility provides basic amenities including flush toilets, sewer hookups for RVs, and trash service, with both drive-in and walk-in sites available. Campers can launch canoes directly from the lake for fishing panfish, as one visitor noted the area works well for "catching some nice pan fish for dinner." The location requires a drive through forest roads but delivers access to quiet waters away from busier recreation areas. Pet owners will find the campground welcomes dogs, and campfires are permitted throughout the grounds. The combination of lake access and hookup availability makes this spot work well for RV campers who want fishing opportunities without crowds.

Off the beaten path

It’s out there a bit but worth the drive. Peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a canoe ride and catching some nice pan fish for dinner
