Accessible via forest roads, Udell Rollways provides primitive camping within the Manistee National Forest near Brethren. The US Forest Service manages this forested campground along a river corridor, offering dispersed-style camping without developed facilities or hookups.
Forest roads require standard clearance vehicles, and campers should prepare for basic conditions including vault toilets or no restroom facilities. The riverside location provides water access, though potability depends on treatment. Other campgrounds around Manistee National Forest include more developed options with amenities. This spot works well for self-sufficient campers comfortable with primitive conditions and forest road access.
