This campsite has exceeded our expectations. Our site was picturesque with a view through the trees of the nearby lake. The sites are wooded and private, well spaced and perfect for hammocks. In the future we definitely want to try sites 16 or 19, they hit all the highlights and have direct trails to the beach.
The beach was great and we enjoyed fishing. We found chanterelles, lobster mushrooms, blueberries and blackberries growing wild.
The bathrooms were always clean and stocked. Hot showers and great camp hosts make this an easy choice for a return visit as soon as we can.
Some sites would accommodate large rvs, others wouldn't, so choose wisely if you're long. There's also a whole, first come, first serve loop.

Directions
From Wellston, MI, take Seaman Rd. south 3.9 miles through Dublin, MI. Just beyond grocery store, turn right, staying on Seaman Rd., and go 0.5 miles to Sand Lake Rd. (Forest Rt. 5728) and campground sign. Turn right onto Sand Lake Rd. and go 0.6 miles to campground.
