Managed by the MIDNR Forest Resources Division, Pike Lake State Forest Campground sits within forested terrain in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and stays open from April through October. Sites accommodate RVs up to 20 feet. Several sites front the lake directly, with good water access noted by the one camper who has reviewed it. The campground runs lightly used, even mid-July. Amenities include toilets and picnic tables; pets and alcohol are permitted. Campers who want more options in the region can browse camping near Newberry State Forest Area, or check out Mouth of the Two Hearted roughly 3.5 miles north for an alternative setting.
