Meadow Springs Campground

Meadow Springs Campground near Mio, MI, is surrounded by flat terrain with a mix of open fields and wooded areas. Temperatures range from lows in the 20s Fahrenheit during winter to highs in the 80s during summer. Campers can explore the nearby Au Sable River for canoeing and fishing or visit the Huron National Forest for hiking and wildlife viewing.

National Forest

Au Sable National Scenic River Located on the edge of a red pine plantation, visitors to this site may see many varieties of wildlife in addition to their view of the Au Sable River. This camping area is a short .25 mile walk from the gate, but is primarily used by river paddlers. There is no motorized access to this site. From Grayling - Travel east on M-72 for 30 miles. Turn left and travel north on M-72/M-33 for .5 miles. Turn right and travel east on McKinley Dr. for 3 miles. Turn right into entrance and follow signs.
