Peacefull, no dump station

We Loved the campsite and the family that lives, owns, operates the grounds are fantastic! Water and electricity with plenty of pressure for the water. Yes it is basically a large yard turned into a campground, but it is done well and easy in/easy out. Was not crowded when we went around Laborday and easy quick access to getting to Traverse city/winerys/ local state forest areas while not spending as much on the camping costs. No dump station was the only downside.

More like large backyard camping.

We stayed here back in the summer of 2019. This was the only place in the area that had a site available. Yard/sites were well kept and looked nice. Our site was small and cramped but thankful that it was open. They only had porta potties, no showers. We had to go to another nearby campground to use their showers. No full sewer hookup. Only water and electric. Was not sprayed for bugs. Mosquitoes were terrible. An older couple owns it. The gentleman was helpful and somewhat accommodating, but a bit grumpy at times. Our stay was ok, but more than likely will not return to this camping site.

SiteDon’t remember site number.

Interesting place....

Stayed here for a marathon race because EVERYTHING was all booked up given the time of year. First, it’s an older couple who owns it and they are pretty funny about check in / out times because I’m pretty sure it’s just their yard you are camping on. Either way, we wouldn’t be getting in until SUPER LATE and the husband was really nice and accommodating. They also were cool with our three dogs running around and he made sure to put us as far off the beaten path as possible. So overall, it served its purpose for what we needed. Not really sure I’d call it “camping” but more of a backyard hangout? 🤷🏼‍♀️ The RV sites do have hookups and there is a bathroom. Not sure about showers though.
