Description

sanctuary acres is over 3 Acres of private, quiet sanctuary off Hillview Dr with an upper pasture & lower pasture. It is a half mile to the C&O Canal and Potomac River. Just across the Potomac, is Shepherdstown, WV with nearly a dozen boutique restaurants/bars, and shopping for discriminating tastes.

The Antietam National Battlefield is under a mile away with over 3,800 Acres historic, gorgeous rolling hills with Antietam Creek running through it, and South Mountain in the backdrop. It is partially treed, so provides adequate shade in the peak of Summer.

There's a firepit in the upper & lower pastures, as well as a Patio w/garden & firepit overlooking the sloping back pasture. Enjoy the ambiance of nature, yet with access to all the charm & history of 21st century restaurants & historic attractions.
