Cell service drops to zero at Great Pond Outdoor Recreation Area, a military-managed campground in Great Pond, Maine that runs year-round. Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections are available, along with showers, WiFi, and a dump station, making it a functional base for RV campers who want amenities without a signal. Reviewers note the campground stays clean and that fellow guests tend to be considerate. Those visiting in late spring should plan around black fly season, which can limit time outdoors. Crickhollow Campground, LLC sits nearby for campers weighing alternatives in the area. This spot suits campers who want full hookups and quiet surroundings without relying on cellular connectivity.
