Paddlers on the Northern Forest Canoe Trail use Attean Falls as an overnight stop where the Moose River meets Attean Pond, and the site doubles as a portage area for that section of the route. Two sites are available, North and South, each with a picnic table and fire ring. They share a single outhouse. Foot traffic from portaging canoeists passes through, so site placement matters. The Narrows- Attean Pond is another boat-in option on the same pond for paddlers wanting a different position on the water.
