Boat-in access only puts Mosquito Rips out of reach for most campers, but paddlers running the Moose Bow Loop in Holeb State Park will find a small, free site beside one of the river's rapids. The site is compact and shows signs of use. It has a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse. A fire permit is required and can be obtained at the Jackman Fire Department. Those paddling with dogs may want to line their boats through the rapid rather than run it, depending on water levels. Camel Rips is another option along the loop for paddlers who find this site occupied.
