Pinecrest RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting just off the highway in Slidell, Louisiana, Pinecrest RV Park is a drive-in campground with full hookups, including electric, water, and sewer, that functions well as a base for exploring the greater New Orleans area. Sites run around $50 per night on average. Campers researching campsites near Slidell will find this park positioned conveniently close to everyday conveniences, with a Dollar General directly across the street and a laundromat on site.

Reviewers consistently note that the park stays quiet, and the grounds are described as well-kept despite being fairly basic in layout. Cell service has come up as a variable, and the on-site WiFi has received mixed feedback, with at least one reviewer noting poor signal even when occupancy was low. The water supply is soft, which some campers have found affects the taste when used for cooking or beverages. Sites can run wet after rain, so arrival conditions are worth checking ahead.

Amenities include showers, toilets, a dump station, and the on-site laundry, though note that the laundry room locks at 6 p.m. Lenny M. described it as "pretty basic but well kept, good for a stop over to visit the area." New Orleans is roughly 30 minutes by car, making this a practical overnight stop for those planning a day trip into the city. Campers who want nearby alternatives with similar highway access can also check Cracker Barrel — Slidell or TA Travel Center — Slidell along the same corridor.

Friendly and helpful staff.

It's a pretty big R. V. Lot. $50 per night on average. Quiet and peaceful. Not too many mosquitoes flying around, but if you plan on going to new orleans that uber will cost you about sixty bucks one way ;). There's a laundromat 2$ for wash and 2 for dry. And a dollar general right across the street in case you need some little things.

It’ll do

Pretty basic but well kept. Amenities are limited but good for a stop over to visit the area. Easy access to New Orleans, about 30 minutes

One of our favorites

We have been here twice and love it! Nice quiet and people who are in the office are a amazing. Highly recommended

Unfriendly staff in office on several occasions

Campground conveniently located right off the highway. Arrived to very wet sites, free internet was very poor ( even when most campers checked out) laundry door is locked by 6 pm, office staff not friendly & not helpful. The water was soft & had a strange taste when used for ice tea & coffee.
