About North Shore Primitive Campground and Day Use Area

Visitors to the north shore camp area should expect a more primitive atmosphere than the south shore facilities. There is no easy turn-around for large vehicles. The camp sites include a fire ring, lantern post, and picnic table. There are no restroom or trash receptacles at this North Shore location.

There are a number of picnic tables near the South Shore boat launch that do include a restroom and trash recepticles.

Not the greatest place

Overgrown and neglected. I drove the miles to visit, so I stayed anyway. It can be done! Would be cool spot if it was cleaned and properly maintained.
