This is actually a Day Use Area but it is a staging area for the Boy Scout Loop Trail (30 miles). It is a single track and you will run into some water on the trail. There is a pit toilet, trash and plenty of parking. There is also picnic tables and grills. A campground is right next door. In this same area is the North Loop Trail that is 32 miles. You are requested to stay on the trail. You will be sharing the trail with motor bikes, horses, ATV's, and mountain bikes. Gravel road in is in good shape and site is well maintained.
