Site 5 sits at the end with expanded space and direct reservoir views, though concrete shelters show graffiti damage and some sites require cleanup from previous visitors.
Buffalo Track Canyon Trail leads to two small caves and rock formations, while the stocked kids' fishing pond holds catfish beyond the typical bluegill. Yucca Campground — Kanopolis State Park and other park campgrounds sit within walking distance. Reserve ahead during peak seasons and pack cleanup supplies.

A guest may reserve and occupy a campsite for up to 14 consecutive nights within a single campground. After 14 consecutive nights, a guest wishing to remain in the state park must relocate to a different campground within the park.
