Not a campground!

Don't let the name mislead you!! I don't think you could consider this a campground at all... it's basically literally a parking lot at the far end of the property for RV hookups outside of the casino. There's power hookups I'm sure don't know about water or dump site at all even but other than the casino / Hotel / restaurant there are zero accommodations to consider this camping otherwise. But hey if you like gambling, Park your RV outside and enjoy! The closest actual campgrounds would be in Salix Iowa, on Browns Lake including Bigelow Park (last I knew it was closed temporarily for construction,) and Snyders Bend campgrounds but the water on that side has all dried up and there's not much to the campground. Otherwise go down to Onawa and there's several places there on Blue Lake including Lewis and Clark or the koa, or even hit the River Campground in Whiting. Not a fan of River camping but it's not a bad looking Campground otherwise if you don't mind being a bit crowded

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there camping available near WinnaVegas Casino Resort in Sloan, Iowa?

Yes, WinnaVegas Casino Resort offers RV camping directly on the property. The RV park is located at the far end of the casino property, providing a convenient option for visitors who want to stay overnight with their recreational vehicles while enjoying the casino.

What amenities does the WinnaVegas Casino Resort offer for overnight guests?

WinnaVegas Casino RV Park provides electric hookups for RVs. The primary benefit is proximity to the casino and its entertainment offerings. However, the amenities are minimal compared to traditional campgrounds. Be sure to inquire directly with the resort about water hookups and dump site availability, as these facilities may be limited. The location functions more as a utilitarian parking area with hookups rather than a traditional campground with outdoor recreation features.

How do reviews rate the accommodation experience at WinnaVegas Casino Resort?

The accommodation experience at WinnaVegas Casino RV Park receives mixed feedback. It's important to set appropriate expectations as this is not a typical campground but rather a designated parking area with RV hookups at the far end of the casino property. The setup is functional but basic, designed primarily for casino patrons wanting convenient overnight stays. Those seeking a traditional camping experience with outdoor amenities would likely find the facilities limited. The location is best suited for RV travelers who prioritize casino access over campground features.
