CG is spread out along bottomland river forest and includes camping cabins, tent and RV sites, RR/showers, playground, dump and water stations, Eco Tourism store/grill, paddling rentals, Blue Heron Cruises, nature center. Sites include fire rings, tables, gravel backing pads, electric with some right near water edge.

CG offers standard electric/water sites with dump station, tenting, cg host onsite, showers/restrooms, soda, playground, 2 luxury cabins, kayak/paddle boats/concessions at beach during in season, god fishing, world class disc golf course.

CG is primarily RV but tents can setup and there is a luxury cabin in CG. PRIDE Lake nearby for paddling and fishing. Pioneer Village cultural site at north end.

Beautiful land to wander, lots of different spots to camp and a hot tub for the cool nights. So much fun and so easy to get to from anywhere in the Midwest. Cabin sits at end of campground lane with covered porch, parking for 3 cars, ADA accessible. Cabin has 2 sleeping rooms, sleeping loft, and sofa. Capacity is 10, with all kitchen amenities. Has fire pit, wood available in campground, tables, and gas grill with rental. Playground nearby, park has seasonal pool, garden of course, trails, Pride Lake for fishing and paddling.

This cabin has all modern conveniences with two sleeping rooms, full service, kitchen, living room, with sofa, sleeper, and fireplace, ADA bathroom and a covered porch overlooking the lake. There’s a gas grill, fire pit, picnic table for outdoor recreation. The park offers kayak rentals, paddle boat rentals, swimming beach in season, and concessions.

This campground has an assortment of primitive and electrical sites. They also have cabins and canoe/kayak rental, a visitor shop with food/drink and a mini museum of the local wildlife. Great place for the family.

Park offers, kayak and paddleboard, rentals, concessions, and a swimming beach in season.

Turn at quarry off Great River Road/Highway 67. Plenty of sites, boat landing, kayak/canoe rentals, naturalist programs, nature center with native  animals including large fish aquarium,  cabins, park store and kitchen, shower house, pontoon  river cruises. Watch river levels for flooding, bugs can be bad since location is bottomland riverine forest.

Park is a nature preserve with only 1 cabin for rent (Kestrel Cabin) sleeping six. Cabin offers modern amenities: stove, oven,micro, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, ADA access, shower. AC/heat, covered porch, firewood, picnic table, Charcoal grill, trails. Park is also site of nature center with live animals, an observatory, access to Wapsipinicon River.

Cabin 1- sits above Railroad Lake surrounded by prairie planting. Lake system offers fishing, paddling, paddle boats,and seasonal swim beach with concessions. Trails, disc golf, camping grounds also. Cabin offers sleeping for 8, good kitchen, covered porch, ADA accessible.

Lake Restoration is currenlty underway! These modern cabins have everything a family needs. Site has parking including handicap and overflow, fire pit, tables, grill, covered porch overlooking lake and prairie, firewood, ice, concessions at cg office or beach/boathouse( when open), world-class disc golf, fishing, trails, playgrounds nearby. Cabins are within West Lake Park.

Cabin sleeps 6, full modern kitchen, ADA accessible, fire ring, grill, wood at no cost, picnic table, hard surface parking for 2 cars, bird feeder for viewing, River Trailhead right outside Kestrel Cabin! No city like that so night sky shines with stars. Trails wind and through forests and prairie areas. Outdoor/ environmental programs offered. Wapsi River access for fishing, paddling, etc.

Great place for family camping. Very clean, and beautiful hiking trails. My only complaint would be that at the private cabins you are not allowed to cook out. We did tent camping and there were grills, but a separate time we did a private cabin and they would not let us grill. So you basically had to either eat at their lodge, or drive into town about 15 minutes away to eat. However, the cabins did have beautiful fire pits at each site. It was nice to be able to sit around the fire throughout the day and night.

it was fun to be able to fish in the creek there, and just relax!

Overall it is a beautiful place. Last time we were there a new hbo series was being filmed, so a lot of stuff was blocked off, however it was pretty awesome to see the production of it come together.

Great camping and close to the bike trail. At the time it is $22 for a camp site and $45 for a cabin. Very nice camp store and WiFi

Clean facilities including: golf course, historical pioneer village, miles to hike, Pride Lake is smaller but fun to fish, has both horse and bike trails, a model airplane field, and 3 cabins.

Cabin sleeps 6, has all amenities including firewood at no cost! Education center onsite with live animals, trails, open year round, Wapsipinicon River below bluff offers paddling, fishing. Menke Observatory offers sky programs.

Cleanest IL State Park I had been to. nice camp sites not too close together. Loved driving through the fjords. On-site restaurant was nice, cabins were clean and cozy.

Inn has been closed and new owner.
