I’d classify this as an above average county run park/campground. All sites are first come first serve. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm and found a site no problem. There are two loops. One has electric only sites and the second has electric/water sites. One concrete pad ADA site.
Small beach area for swimming. Two playgrounds. Very nice field of wild comb flowers blooming near the shower house.
The shower house was less than than stellar. IMO it’s cleanliness kept this review from being considered near 4 stars. Usable bathrooms and shower stalls…yes, but definitely lacked attention.
ScoutNever again, because since we arrived, people have complained about my family without us doing anything. They even watched us go to the bathroom. They called the police, claiming we were littering in the street and making unnecessary noises and speeding in the park. To top it all off, they're friends of the manager. It's three spaces against one. I don't recommend anyone staying here, because they recorded everyone who passed by and took pictures of their cars. When we went to tell them we wanted a refund quickly, they told them to call the manager.
ScoutIt's a nice place with electricity and great bathrooms. But a lot of people from a trailer near us were all the weekend complaining for no reason, yelling at everyone and calling the cops on a lot of people. It's unacceptable that people that are calm trying to have fun with our family have to deal with people feeling entitled of everyone else free time. Will not be here again. I know the camp has no fault of other people's behavior, but admin should be more aware of this behavior and stop it.
TravelerThe last time i was at this place was long ago, they don’t really have any electric from what I remember but its a good place to go for a fun bonfire in the woods, just get ahold of them for the site and tell them which one you’d like theres plenty of spots that are right next to the main trails! But firewood gathering is weird.

ScoutThe lake is not too deep for boats. In the camping area there are people with motorcycles speeding and making unnecessary noise. I went to complain to the manager and he did nothing about it because the owners of the motorcycles are friends.
ScoutWe decided to camp here after a long day on I-90. We got here at 3am and the first thing we saw was a “historic cemetery”. After setting up camp an old mini van kept driving by us, with no one there. He had stopped for a second to look at us and drove away. 10 minutes later he was back and we PACKED up and left. This place is suspicious, take caution.
