    Nice campground on nice lake

Large campground with a play park and other sporting area. Lake to swim in - no lifeguard offered. Large sites with water/electric hook up - some full hook sites and big rig friendly. The site we were put in was not set up well for the connections however it was a large site. Very muddy site but they offered to let us use a rug so we didn’t get ours all Muddy.

Beautiful, peaceful, not too far out of the way.

It was serene and beautiful. The sunset over the water was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking scenery. There is a shower and toilets. And it costs $20 for a tent sight, $25 for a power hookup sight. We'll worth the stop, I almost didn't want to leave. I would stay here again!

    DO NOT GO

We decided to camp here after a long day on I-90. We got here at 3am and the first thing we saw was a “historic cemetery”. After setting up camp an old mini van kept driving by us, with no one there. He had stopped for a second to look at us and drove away. 10 minutes later he was back and we PACKED up and left. This place is suspicious, take caution.

    Well kept campsite

Well maintained campground with fishing piers and a swimming beach. A lot of seasonal/permanent sites. Transit spots were a little tight but owners did what they could to space you out. Very accommodating.

Nice place to stop while visiting the Grotto

We stayed at the Grotto of the Redemption RV park for two nights. We were in our class C while slowly making our way across the country. We had no problems getting a spot here. There are two areas. One is very close to a train line, which runs infrequently. Sites are grass, level, and reasonably well maintained. All sites are pull through. Only electrical hookups are available at the sites. This is in good condition. There is fresh water and a dump station available. Each site has a nice grassy area and there are plenty of large trees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a park nearby with a playground.

The RV park is near the Grotto. The Grotto is a fascinating achievement worth a look if you are in the area.

We had 2 bar LTE with Verizon. Our hotspot was usable and performed very well. Campground wifi was not available.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this campground. We will stay again when traveling this way.

    Great little park!

We stopped here for 2 nights on our way to South Dakota. The park is small, but very well maintained, and man, literally every person there was INCREDIBLY nice! I met the previous owner of the park and his wife, and told about some cool things to do in the area including the Jeffers Petroglyphs, a fort in the town of Jackson, and the town from Little House on the Prairie.

Our site was level, easy to get into, and had a nice tree providing some shade. Water pressure was good, no issues with electric. One thing I noticed that I thought was really cool was they had a good sewer hose at the dump station for guests to use so they didn’t have to dig theirs out. That is the kind of thought the owners put into the experience at their park. Simple, nice perks that make the experience just that little bit extra good, and there were things like that throughout the park.

There is a small grocery store about 5 mins south of the park, a Burger King right across the street, and a few gas stations. New Ulm is about an hour away and well worth the visit! Cool little downtown area with lots of history, great restaurants, and cool shops.

Peaceful and quiet between lake and corn field

The shower had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. Dated but clean. Very quiet and peaceful here. Dog friendly.

    Beautiful surroundings

Right by a lake. The staff is attentive, kind and welcoming. Have not been able to have a greater look of the surroundings because just staying for a night and leaving early morning.

The Grotto of the Redemption RV Park

    Very Nice, Excellent Value

The Grotto is interesting and inspiring. Admission is free. Two adjacent camping areas are partially shaded and will accommodate rigs of all sizes. I counted (8) 50 amp and (16) 30 amp sites. Rest rooms, showers, fresh water and a dump station are provided. The cost is $20 per night. Sites are offered on a first come first served basis. Thirty amp sites are on lush grass and include a view of a the grotto, a pond and surrounding residences. The 50 amp area offers more privacy, gravel pull through parking and more convenient shower and rest room access but a lightly used rail line runs by.

    Pristine and peaceful

What a gem! We were there for a one night mid-week stay, and it was so quiet and calm because ~70% of the spots are taken by seasonal guests who are primarily at the campgrounds on the weekends. Right on Lake Imogene, there is a boat dock and a sandy swimming beach (which we had entirely to ourselves!). The grounds are well-maintained and very clean. There are three playgrounds (one at the swimming beach), a mini golf course, and an actual phone booth. The owners live on site and are very kind and accommodating. We got a late checkout for an additional $10, allowing us to really take advantage of this amazing spot. Highly recommended.

    Clean and inviting

Arrived after office was closed. Still greeted by the owner very welcomingly. Test site is flat, dry and grassy. Could’ve ask for a better site. Mosquitoes where not an issue at this site. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Hidden gem!

What a beautiful, clean campground right on a gorgeous lake!! I really enjoyed my short stay here - the owner met me at the office when I called him. No problem that I didn’t have a reservation- plenty of room! $37 for the night. Showers and bathrooms were big and clean. Campground in general was immaculate. Would definitely stay again if I was passing through this way. Literally right off I-90.

    Would not reccommed

The guy gave me an address that lead me to an abandoned barn so I was then 40 mins out of the way.

Really nice set up for a quick stay over off of I-90

We found this place by accident, and were very happy we did. It’s a small family run campground with mostly seasonal campers. Set along the shores of Lake Imogene, which comes out of nowhere surrounded by farm land, and you can’t even see it from the road. Mature shade trees everywhere, Impeccably clean bathrooms, showers, etc. playground, small homemade mini golf course, volleyball, basketball, the works to keep the kids happy and entertained while you relax in a quiet clean setting. We stayed in a bull through site with two other campers, were nice and spaced out and didn’t hear them at all, but we’re told on weekends because of an on-site wedding venue, there are more people and the campsites are full. Mid-week night stats are tops though, and we would absolutely stay here again. The pull through sites have electric, water and sewage at every site.

Everyone we met (owners, staff, other campers) were extremely nice. Good people, great stay.

    Very nice. Clean .

showerhouse with 2 showers. Camp host. Firewood. Water and 50 amp at sites. At&t service. $22 with electricity. $12 w/o. Stayed here in a 26' B+. Big rigs ok here. All back in. Larryneedstogocamping will be back. Only issues. Would like more night lighting and lake access.

    Awesome campground

New paved roads, boat landing to river and frisbee golf connected. No water hook ups at each site. Has one in central location so luckily I had just enough hose to fill up the camper. Close to state park with trails and bison so had a great weekend!

    Nice Clean Park

Clean Park, have fun things to do at Lawcon park across the street! Frisbee Golf, playground, and a 5mile trail around lake. As good as you get for a Municipal Campground.

    Awesome Sunset!

Really nice spot almost overlooking the lake (Through the trees), had fire ring, picnic tables and room for quite a lot of tents! For me and my family it was perfect!

In the COVID-19 times we found this campground to be clean and easy to distance. Bathrooms/showers had a fan blowing and window open and the site we had ( #9) had a male tree for afternoon/early evening shade. We unloaded our bikes and enjoyed the bike trails that encircle and go through Jackson. Our neighbor had a leak in his outside shower that was noticed by the maintenance man. He turned off the water and upon the camper’s return, helped him fix his leak. Recycling available and besides your picnic table, there’s a covered dining area by the pool with a gas grill.

    Enjoyable Stay
