Pioneer Park needs updating

I'm not sure if this park is a local favorite but there were a couple of things that turned me off. When I pulled into the park and began to pull around the small lake/pond large out buildings were the main view on the opposite banks of the water. When I go camping one of the things a look for are pretty scenic views and it just wasn't calling to me.

The facilities need updates as well. Having said that there were quite a few campers in the park and a lot of folks trying their luck with fishing.

My guess is most folks in the area take their time to catch fish here then go hiking or take the time to try out the old swing set. I'm not much of a fisherman so I will take a pass in the future for camping. I might consider using the pavilion for a church pancake breakfast.
