Sites run large, with open terrain and access to both the main lake and smaller ponds nearby. The road in is rough, so drivers should account for that, especially with rigs up to the 52-foot RV maximum. Amenities include drinking water, showers, a dump station, and firewood. The campground operates April 1 through October 15, with reservations available and pets welcome. Nearby loops like Catbrier Loop Campground offer additional options if Dogwood fills up.
Description
Dogwood Loop Campground is one of three shady campground loops in the Tipsaw Lake Recreation Area and includes 14 individual sites. The loop has centralized water, flush toilets, hot showers, and a recharge table for electric boat motors. A selection of single or extra-large sites are available. Two walk-in sites are also provided. Only two of the sites have electricity, the rest do not. The campground opens April 15 and remains open through October 31 (weather dependent). A maximum of 2 vehicles and 8 people are allowed in single sites, and 16 people and 4 vehicles are allowed in double sites. An additional $5/vehicle per day is charged for extra vehicles.

From St. Croix, IN, take State Rt. 37 south 4.7 miles to Recreation Area - Tipsaw Lake sign. Turn right at sign and go 2.3 miles to recreation area entrance and proceed to campground.
