Nice family campground

Nice, secluded location with large camp lots. There is one larger lake with several smaller ponds. Well kept. Nice management. Fun for the kids.

Ranger Review of OOFOS OOmg Low Shoe https://www.oofos.com/ and Dogwood Loop at Tipsaw Lake Recreation area Hoosier National Forest.

Campground Review: So I started out up the road at Celina Lake which to me is the ideal campground, quiet, woods all around, can’t hardly see or hear anyone else and you are secluded in your own little area. Then we move down to Tipsaw Lake. First Loop(Catbrier) I drive through is basically a field with a pavilion and a bunch of RVs all clustered together. I’m thinking let’s go back to Celina...but then I check out Dogwood. I’m back in the woods :) and though I’m alone this visit I see that the campsite configuration on several of the sites is doubled for family set up. Two complete sites with shared parking but then woods for privacy and quiet between those and the next double site. Someone took some time and thought setting these loops up! There are a few single sites but for the most part this is family , group oriented.

Nice showerhouse and not far from the beach which features a bathhouse and several small pavilions with paved walkways.

The Tipsaw Trail is 5.9 miles and once again is family oriented because the rolling terrain is child friendly with no major climbs but still challenging.

Product Review: OOFOS OOmg Low Shoe has become my second favorite shoe. That’s because my OOFOS OOahh Luxe Slide Sandal is still my favorite. I have been wearing OOFOS since last year and when I had the opportunity as a Dyrt Ranger to review the newest edition I was excited!

I absolutely love the colors! So BAM! in your face BLUE and GREEN. I immediately put them on and wore them for the remainder of the day around the house. There was an initial pinch on my pinkie toe side but it worked itself out. I then packed up my OO’s and took them to Alabama, Kentucky and most recently Indiana. They are my go to shoes after a trail run, hike, long day at work, etc.

The insole is totally squishy(technology explained on site) and makes your feet and calves feel relaxed plus relieves/rests your legs and for me my lower back. I like the Luxe Slides for around the campsite , let’s my toes spread out( I have big feet, size 11, and my toes are always smooshed in shoes) The OOFOS Lows are perfect for driving and stand around kinda stuff. I volunteered for a fundraiser, we were on cement floors standing for s few hours and I didn’t even notice it in my OOFOS OOmg Low Shoes. I can find no cons, even the price is reasonable to me because the pair I got last year still look almost new and feel as good now as they did when I got them.
