Excellent County Park

Great gem of a woodsy campground. Stayed one night before visiting George Rogers Clark National Park (you can park your rig right in front of the natl park visitors center on the street). Campground is out of the way, which I consider a positive.

The staff were great. Excellent communication, seamless reservation process. Received prompt response to email, voicemail message was left after booking explaining exactly where my site was located.

If you are coming in for one night, definitely pick site 23 or 24 pull throughs. TIP: Make sure you have an extension for your 30/50 AMP, and one for your water as well (but what serious camper doesn't already have those?). Definitely on the list of "do agains."

Ouabache Traile County Park

Nice little campground for the night while passing through the area. There were trains nearby that would go off throughout the day, but during my stay they were done by nightfall and resumed around 6AM. Did not use the showers, but they were there. AT&T was very weak.

2 night stay

We stayed here 2 nights. We came to see the George Rogers Clark National Monument. Campground was nice. Several full time campers living here. Staff was friendly. Was a little noisy on the weekend. Shower house was very clean.

Nice Small Campground

My Wife and I stayed at this campground for 3 nights. Our travel trailer is 22 feet and the site was large enough for our travel trailer and tow vehicle.

Nice

Not bad for this small town. Mountain biking trails are not kept up at all, logs across the two trails we have. We’ve tent camped and stayed in the cabins, both were good, pretty close to your neighbors though.

Small but Nice

We actually haven’t even come close to doing all Ouabache offers. It does have cabins and camping sites but we haven’t used those. There are a few, fairly short, but fun mountain biking trails as well as additional hiking trails. There are two different play areas as well.

Extremely accommodating!

The campground hosts do a great job of accommodating special needs. We have stayed here three times in the last year and have required extra space/accommodations to bring a wheelchair-bound family member to our campsite. The Oabache trails hosts allowed us to extra space for parking and loading/unloading. Grounds are well-maintained and the shower facilities/restroom were very good.

Close to Home

Oubache is super close to home and a regular spot that I take my 3 kiddos to hike and play on the different playgrounds! It is also adjacent to Fort Knox II for any history buffs as well!

Great trails!

This is a very nice campground just outside of Vincennes. Love the camp ground, does have electricity and water. Very shaded. Also has cabin rentals that are fantastic. Lots of trails to walk. Dog friendly.
