Nice KOA

Shade, grass, and gravel sites. A lot better than most KOAs. They ask that you not put outdoor rugs on grass; no problem as grass is nice. Sites 1-10 are your best bet for Starlink if that’s what you have; best opening through tree canopy of the northern sky. Pet friendly; counted three cats and a dog in the office when I checked in. Was given the option of choosing my site out of the seven available for my reservation. A mix of long term residents and travelers; some of the long term resident sites were a little junky.

Quaint

Really cute little park with lots of shade and convenient access to Crawfordsville. We were here for a quick stopover, but made friends with several locals spending time here. It seems like a short vacation spot for locals and long term residents. Pretty basic pool and playground, but really nice landscaping.

Nice spot

We were just passing through and looking for a place to stop overnight. For a holiday weekend to get a last minute pull through with electric and water for a single night at $50, I’d call it very reasonable!

Grounds are well kept. Shower house is clean. Store has the basic fry goods and merchandise. No cooler for ice or sodas so make sure you have some before you get here.

Sites are spaced out well, fresh gravel for the driveways and pads. Pads are fairly level. Only had to bring up one side 1/2”. Sites are shaded very well and the noise from the highway and busy main drag is very minimal.

Playground is very basic. A couple of climbing apparatus’s and a big open field. A nice fenced in area for the pups to be off leash.

Owners are very friendly and helpful!

Only thing keeping this from a full 5 stars is the basic playground and no cold or frozen goods. Nit picky I know. But if that’s the only thing, then I’d call this a win for sure!

We would definitely stay here again, weather a single night passing through or make it a couple of days.

Angry drunken maintenance man

It’s a shame that I’m even having to choose 1 star. My wife and I pulled in here and made a reservation then drove back out to eat. When we returned I pulled around the very poorly marked campground and parked my truck camper. Upon exiting the truck I heard a man yelling from across the campground. I was on the phone and didn’t realize he was yelling at me until he yelled out my campsite number. This irate man was yelling at the top of his lungs that I drove the wrong direction and that I drove over his grass. I have pictures and videos documenting that in fact I did not drive onto his clover and weed spattered gravel. I have a ram 3500 that has a camper in the bed of the truck. I am more than capable of making the turn even though it was coming from the wrong direction. Indeed, an RV or a truck pulling a camper would most definitely have driven over the“grass” in this situation. However not a big deal in a pickup. So keep in mind this Man was yelling all this from right behind the office and standing behind a truck and that I was in spot 47. Look at the park map. I was far away. So he goes into a drunken rant and continues to yell crap across the campground. He and the female owner approached me while he was stilling yelling and cussing at me about his“grass”. He was belligerent. He yelled at the owner that it was either him or me that left. So out of respect for the owner and before I reacted and gently laid this drunken guy on the ground and go to jail over some drunken idiot, I left, after 3 police officers arrived. After I left the female owner continued to communicate with me through texts because she refuses to ever answer the phone. She text that he is the maintenance guy and that he is the only employee she’s got. I cannot believe this guy completely lost his crap in front of all the campers that were at this campground. I have never in my life experienced anything even remotely similar to this. So please beware of the maintenance guy. And for the love of god don’t go the wrong direction or you too will be attacked!

It’s a KOA

It’s about what you’d expect out of a KOA. Easy to find, has a pool, showers, and bathrooms. Not all sites are full hook up but there is a dump station

It’s time KOA User

This campground is gorgeous. The sites are gravel and grassy. Great shade all over and landscaping is beautiful. Full access and hook ups makes it so easy. There is an awesome playground for families with kids. Nice grassy area throughout for your fur babies. Less then a minute off of 1-74 and super close to town for restaurants and stores for supplies. We extended our stay an extra 2 days because it is so nice. Staff was great and polite.

Wonderful hosts, lovely, quiet campground

Great spot for an overnight stop. Host was super friendly and helpful. We had to switch dates last minute and they were super flexible. We arrived at 2am, but they had us all situated for late checkin. The campground itself was very lovely and quiet. Couple tight spots for a long rig (we have a class A 36’ +toad) but certainly manageable. WIFI signal was strong, full hook-ups were great, and bath house was super clean, with good COVID practices in place. Highly recommend.

Nice Overall

Overall, a pretty nice campground if you’re just passing through. The owners are very friendly and will help you set up if you need it. The spots are close together but they have a very nice pool.

Great people, beautiful campground!

This KOA served as " home" for my husband and I for 3 weeks while moving. The family that runs the campground is wonderful and extremely helpful. The little restaurant has great food at good prices, and many ice cream flavors for those hot summer day's! Great pool and a place to let your dog run! The cabin we stayed in had so much privacy and was adorable! We love this KOA and can't wait to go back!

Good Campground, horrible tent sites

The staff was great, all the amenities were fantastic. This campsite would be great if you were staying in an RV, camper, or one of the cabins, but the tent sites are terrible. They are right next to the highway, and they are all very exposed, and have little protection from mosquitoes.
