Nice spots close to everything

We stayed during the Christmas season when they didn't have all the usual family activities, but it was still a nice campground and a great value. Large concrete pads with plenty of space between sites. Campground wifi is the best I've ever seen.

Quaint

Really cute little park with lots of shade and convenient access to Crawfordsville. We were here for a quick stopover, but made friends with several locals spending time here. It seems like a short vacation spot for locals and long term residents. Pretty basic pool and playground, but really nice landscaping.

Hidden Gem

We stayed here for a quick overnight on a longer trip and want to come back for longer. Massive spots in a wooded area with lots of privacy. Full hookups as well as electric only with convenient potable water and dump stations. Nice playgrounds, bike trails (paved & mountain),fishing and an excellent aquatic center ($5 per person).

Good place for a stopover with a family...

… but nothing special. They have a pool and mini golf to entertain the kids who have been driving you crazy on the road. Excellent food trucks which is good since there's not much else in the area. Flooding is an issue after heavy rains but it seems to affect all sites equally.

Fantastic campground for families

We rolled in with a 3 day reservation and were assigned spot 13 right next to the pool. I was a bit nervous about noise in the evening but that wasn't a problem at all and we were right in the middle of the action. Great playground for the kids and a really nice pool with a lazy river. Make sure to bring your own floats. We'll definitely be back and will request the same spot.

Nice spot for RV camping

Salem Breeze is a no-frills RV campground. It's a great spot to hook up your rig if you're in the area for something else, but it's not a destination campground. Spots are level with plenty of room although not much shade in most spaces. 30/50A full hookups with both back in and pull-through spots. They reserve you a spot, but not a specific spot so get there early if you want your pick. Generally they're overpriced for what you get, but certainly in a nice convenient part of time if you need to be in the area. This is a fairly new campground in the area so not a lot of crowds yet and the sites are in great shape.

Excellent County Park with Plenty to Do

This is our local park so we're a bit spoiled. It was perfect for our first outing in our new 34' travel trailer. Plenty of shade in the campground which unfortunately makes backing a challenge in some sides dodging the trees. The park has great mountain biking, walking/hiking trails, horseback riding, gold, swimming, playgrounds and a great dog park. It's the place we go on the weekend as locals and a great place to visit for campers. Hosts were extremely friendly and do a fantastic job keeping the sides clean and cleared of even the smallest twigs and branches from the tree.
