It’s a KOA

It’s about what you’d expect out of a KOA. Easy to find, has a pool, showers, and bathrooms. Not all sites are full hook up but there is a dump station

Nice sites nice staff

The spots are good size and most are shared asphalt pads where your rear end faces your neighbors rear end. However you don’t share a pedestal or any other hookups with them. Our site had a water hook up that was equipped with a heater on the spigot for cold weather.

Gets the job done

We stayed at roadrunner campground. No big complaints. Some of the sites are kind of small but they do have parking areas for your vehicle if it does not fit on your pad with your RV. Bathroom areas have showers but leave much to be desired. If you go on a weekend the line to get into the campground can become quite long. However all that said. They take good care of the sites and you can’t beat a spot at the lake for $30.

Beautiful little oasis in the desert

Nice campsite that looks to be well maintained. Note that if you stay on Juniper Loop the website does say you need 100ft of hose to get water from the spigot. My site at #29 Juniper loop only required two 20 foot hoses and I only had to use one of my 20 foot electrical cables. However I would still come prepared to run at least that much hose and cable if not more. Also note that the campground gates get locked at 10pm and if you are out after that the only way back in is to wait for morning, or park at the bottom of the hill and walk up to your campsite.

Does the job

Perfect little spot for a nice cheap overnight stay on the way through Oklahoma. Not far from Walmart so it was a good place to restock the fridge!

First time staying at an RV resort

Impressed by what this place had to offer! Nice pool area, laundry room, and decent little gym. The only downside is the location as far as pulling into the park itself is right off of an interstate and is a pretty tight turn off a somewhat busy road. All in all would stay again!

Nice spot in St. Charles convenient to St. Louis airport

Sundermeir is like a little RV oasis in the middle of downtown St. Charles. Close to just about anything you want to do in the area. Grounds are well maintained and have a walking trail that takes you to along the river. There was some construction going on along the path when I was there but all in all it was a great stay!

One of my favorite lakes

The Pittsburg campground at Pomme de Terre State Park is awesome. The host was super friendly and helpful. The sites are all gorgeous, especially if you can get one right by the lake. The vault toilets are the cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen. There is a nice little swimming beach up the road and a boat ramp. If you like to fish or kayak the water isn't far from any of the sites. Did not get the time to hit the trail that is located right at the campsite but having a trailhead that close to your site is awesome. Will go back for another trip.
