Lots of trees, next door to exciting Playmill Theatre

Friendly property managers with access to on-site RV maintenance if you run into trouble. Full hookups-- a huge plus for extended stays. Site has a table, campfire pit, and room for extra parked cars. Beautiful, well-groomed sites with lots of trees. Fun playground for the kiddos. Walking distance from exciting Playmill Theatre(my husband actually left Playmill at intermission to check on the dogs in our trailer and was back in his seat before curtain call). Nearby tons of hiking trails; jogging distance to Snake River and the famous trapper cabin(I often spend an early morning to take a long run down Big Springs Loop). You just can't beat the convenience for price and mountain vibes feel. We stay here every time we go to Island Park(which is a handful each summer). 10/10 recommend.

Nice medium sized campground

Level sites, gravel pads, full hook ups, host escorts you to your site when you arrive (make sure you call ten minutes before you arrive to coordinate the escorting) a little farther from Yellowstone than other campgrounds,

Great campground

We were thrilled to be camping in the trees after being in the deserts of Utah and a city RV park in Cody. Sites were easy to access, even for big rigs. We were greeted at the road, escorted to our spot, and expertly guided into our spot. On one of our days, we did a 7 hour road trip to Old Faithful and down through the Tetons.

Love this place

You can find an RV park closer to Yellowstone, but you’d be hard pressed to find one nicer. The people running it are salt of the earth good folks. The laundry and restrooms are nice and clean. The spaces are shaded with picnic tables and fire pits. Perfect playground and easy access to the river for kayaking or paddle boarding.
