Deadwood Lookout features running water and toilet facilities in a more rustic setting. Most cabins include basic furnishings with beds, tables, and chairs, though amenities differ significantly between locations. Silver Creek Plunge offers cabins with outdoor fire rings and picnic tables. Boiling Springs Cabin provides a more secluded experience with toilet facilities. A camper noted that Boiling Springs is "one of the best places I have been, secluded and very much relaxing."

Rustic and deluxe cabins are both available, depending on the location. Deadwood Lookout receives high ratings for its family-friendly atmosphere, while Clear Creek Station offers more amenities including electricity and running water. Most cabins require advance reservations, especially during summer months from May through September. Pet policies vary by location – Deadwood Lookout prohibits pets while Boiling Springs Cabin allows them. Seasonal availability differs, with some properties like Boiling Springs operating from April through October and others available year-round.

Most cabins include beds but require visitors to bring their own linens, towels, and toiletries. Kitchen facilities range from none at all to basic cooking areas with fire rings. Firewood is available at some locations like Deadwood Lookout but not at others. Several properties including Silver Creek Plunge and Cowboy Campground have on-site markets for basic supplies. Clear Creek Station offers a restaurant on the property, though one visitor reported inconsistent hours, noting "the restaurant was closed... maybe they aren't open past 6?" Visitors planning extended stays should bring food supplies from larger towns before arriving.

Boise National Forest Warm Lake Campground

A Pleasant Camping Area North of Boise, Idaho

This campsite is located east of Cascade Lake and Donnelly, Idaho. It's a scenic road to get there. The camsite we were in was dry camping with no hook-ups. The camping pad for our 27' Travel Trailer was nice and level. Each campsite had a picnic table and a firepit. There are some nice hiking trails in the vicinity. Mountain biking and horse riding is acceptable there as well. Since we had kayaks, we had a short drive to the boat ramp. There is excellent trout fishing. There is a small swim beach near the Warm Lake Lodge and Restaurant, near where the cabins are. All in all, a great stay, away from the city :-) It's a nice peaceful setting.

      Right next to the lake!

Clean, leveled, friendly, only 1/4 mile to their downtown. Friendly and helpful staff, showers, toilets, beach area for swimming WITH lounge chairs, swimming right in front, volleyball court, dog walking trails, fire pits, horse shoe play area, etc! Only wish I was able to do laundry but coming back again! Oh and the best part, great fishing under the bridge!

      Remote and beautiful

      Warm Lake Campground

Quite a drive to this beautiful lake but apparently it is well liked by locals because it was crowded!

The water is crystal clear and fishing is popular. There is a trail that goes completely around the lake but we turned back when a snake crossed our path.

There is a tent area, rental cabins and a camper area. I had no signal, bring a map.

The forest fires were further into the forest but the smoke haze was ever present.

      Worth the drive

Warm Lake Is BEAUTIFUL! Peaceful, dark and REMOTE.

Quite a drive to this beautiful lake but apparently it is well liked by locals because it was crowded! People fishing everywhere, people all around the lodge, trail and beach.

The water is crystal clear and fishing is popular. There is a trail that goes completely around the lake but we turned back when a snake crossed our path.

There are several options to include a group camping area, a shoreline primitive area, rental cabins and a Rec vehicle area. The lodge offers pretty much everything you could need, but considering how busy they are I would try to bring what I needed.

Country Corners Campground & RV Park

      Cozy and quiet

I have lived here full-time for over 3 years. It is beautiful, quiet, calm, and very safe for children and families. The rates are some of the cheapest around the country, and there is a group site for picnicking with a fire pit. There are tent sites with fire pits as well as RV spots and truck campers are always welcome as well. 24/7 free showers, and laundry @1.25. there is a phone number to call if you get in after business hours or you can just fill out a sheet and find a spot for the night and hook up. Owners are very laid back, and welcoming. We all rely on the old school honor system around here.

Boise National Forest Warm Lake Campground

Beautiful place for campers of all kinds

Great places to hike, kayak, swim, or go boating. After 6pm motorized boats are not allowed on the water. It has cabins as well as tent sites. Not very secluded, to many people for my liking so if you dont want neighbors try another place. It does haave a little store which is nice.

      Boise Riverside RV Park

Convenient to the city, but that's about it.

I stayed in the tent camping area which is also basically the dog run. You park in the lot then walk across a short bridge to a small lawn area with picnic tables to set up your tent. The RV area is really just a giant parking lot with RVs lined up side by side, nothing special. The bathrooms were being renovated, might be nicer in a few months.

Cabin options near Banks, Idaho range from rustic accommodations to more comfortable setups with varying levels of privacy and access. Located in the mountainous terrain of central Idaho at approximately 3,000 feet elevation, the area experiences warm summers and cold winters with significant seasonal access considerations. What to do

River activities: For water enthusiasts, the proximity to the Payette River offers excellent recreation opportunities. Hiking access: Several cabin rentals provide direct trail access for hiking and exploration. The area around Arrowhead RV Park offers riverside paths, with visitors noting it has a "party fire pit area" and is "very calm and peaceful" with spots available "by the river."

Mountain biking: The mountain terrain provides numerous trails for cyclists. Near Idaho City, Cowboy Campground offers access to "Miles of forest for hiking, exploring and fishing. Right off Highway 21, it's easy to find with ample space between campsites. A great base camp for exploring the area."

    What campers like

Privacy levels: Different cabins offer varying degrees of seclusion. Silver Creek Plunge has "plenty of campsites along the river and around" though campers should "be aware that there is a lot of ATV activity" in the area.

Riverside access: Many visitors appreciate direct water access from their accommodations. Boise Riverside RV Park includes access to the "Boise River, a short trek from wineries, shopping and the river" and "a greenbelt that runs from the campground all the way to Lucky Peak Reservoir, a distance of 19 miles."

Seasonal atmosphere: Fall visits offer unique experiences at cabin rentals near Banks. At Waters Edge RV Resort, one visitor described "all the fall colors in full display, brisk evening air perfect for a fall fire to warm yourself... Great walking paths to view all kinds of wildlife along the river."

    What you should know

Reservation requirements: Many cabins require advance booking, especially during peak seasons. Alpine Lodge and RV visitors note that for holiday periods, planning ahead is essential: "Made reservations for the week of 4th July. Everyone working at the RV Park was very friendly and helpful."

Seasonal access limitations: Winter weather affects accessibility to many cabins. Alpine Lodge has "mature trees providing ample shade throughout the day. Most sites have a concrete patio and grassy area."

Clear Creek Station's restaurant receives mixed reviews: "The burger was the best I had in a long time and the place is frequented by locals. The place was clearly understaffed but they were friendly and helpful."

    Tips from RVers

Site accessibility: Some cabin locations have challenges for larger vehicles. At Country Corners, staff are noted for being helpful with arrivals: "Called this campground to see if there were any spots available and talked to a very nice woman on the phone who was able to get us in a tent spot immediately."

Utilities reliability: Power and water connections vary between properties. Alpine Lodge had one camper who "discovered the coach had developed a short that tripped the power pedestal breaker. Steve played a major role in locating and helping me fix the shorted wire run. Our stay would have been ruined without his help."

Winter considerations: For cold weather visits, prepare for potential freezing issues. Waters Edge campers noted that "though it was chili at night, and our pipes froze the last night, it was the best October birthday week we have had in a long time."
