Great overnight stop with the kids!!

I’d give 4.5 stars if possible. Great location to break up the trip between Boise and Lewiston.

Lots of fun stuff to do: good swimming beach with the ability to check out canoes and kayaks (life jackets available for loan was a big deal since our 7&9 year olds forgot to pack theirs), sand volleyball, big bonfire ring near the beach, benches and picnic tables along the water access, lots of access to fishing within walking distance. Big rocks along the water that our daughter really enjoyed scrambling along, and we laid across them to watch the meteor shower.

Sites are big and easy to park our 36’ camper, easy check in, cute little store with firewood for sale. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Bathroom was clean, we didn’t use the shower.

The only thing I could complain about is that our picnic table was not in the best shape, but we swapped out for our neighbor’s since the site showed as available for the only night we were going to stay.

Friendly and convenient

We returned here after staying a few years ago. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Sites are pretty level. Campground within walking distance to town, good river front area. Fairly quiet, we will come again!

Perfect week long stay.

What a beautiful place, and location to spend a week in October. With all the fall colors in full display, brisk evening air perfect for a fall fire to warm yourself. We could not have picked a better week to stay in October. Great walking paths to view all kinds of wildlife along the river. Met the owner who also owns the Ashley inn right in town, though it was chili at night, and our pipes froze the last night, it was the best October birthday week we have had in a long time. If they were open year-round and our rig was good in the snow, we would be up there every month. Beautiful views, great weather, and we always go and eat at the whistle stop Cafe in town, give their pizza a try.

Right next to the lake!

Clean, leveled, friendly, only 1/4 mile to their downtown. Friendly and helpful staff, showers, toilets, beach area for swimming WITH lounge chairs, swimming right in front, volleyball court, dog walking trails, fire pits, horse shoe play area, etc! Only wish I was able to do laundry but coming back again! Oh and the best part, great fishing under the bridge!
