Bighorn Crags Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Remote access defines this campground. Set within Salmon National Forest, Bighorn Crags sits near both river and lake terrain in the Frank Church wilderness corridor of central Idaho, with a short season running July 1 through September 15. The access road is rough, so high-clearance vehicles are worth considering before the trip. Nearby Crags Complex sits just 0.2 miles east for campers who want a closely related alternative. The elevation and limited season suggest snow-free windows are narrow, making early August a reliable window to plan around.
