Open terrain alongside a creek defines this US Forest Service campground in Sawtooth National Forest. Canyon Campground operates from May through September and prohibits pets, making it a quieter option for campers who prefer less crowded conditions.
The campground's creek-side location provides water access, while the open terrain offers unobstructed views of the surrounding forest landscape. Campers looking for additional options in the region can explore campgrounds around Atlanta or check out nearby Bowns Campground less than two miles away. Plan accordingly for the no-pets policy if traveling with animals.
