labor day weekend

my family and i spent 3 1/2 days at the Big Eddy. the sites are first come first serve. the one we got was right in the middle, next to the bathroom, easy walk to the river. sites are a decent size for tent or rv, just not so much for both. there were hosts that came around a couple times to…

  • i was parked off of the pavement so i had to move my truck "for fire safety"  which wasnt an issue. but made the road by us a bit tight for people getting to/from the next sites

Big Eddy Campground is located in Southwestern Idaho, 44 miles north of Boise. Take State Highway 55 north to Banks (35 miles). Proceed north on Highway 55 (9 miles) to campground. Watch for recreation signs.
