Shady spots, relaxed location, nearby hiking trail. Clean showers and bathrooms.
The spots were shady and it was not crowded at all. There were only about 5 other groups at the campground. You could even walk down to the lake. It got a bit windy at night. This campground is also nearby Devil’s Tower Nat’l Monument, which is a can’t miss if you’re in this area of Wyoming.
The main plus was this campground was only a 5 minute drive from the Western entrance to Glacier NP. The staff was very friendly and gave recommendations for local things to do. Our site had an electrical outlet. The bathrooms were clean and the campground even had an area to wash dishes.
This campsite is located in a beautiful remote area of Montana, only a short hike away from the beginning of the Missouri River. Large site. The only problem was there were many mosquitoes.
Friendly staff, free canoes to take out on the lake, clean restrooms and kitchen area, nice relatively private tent camping spot.
