22 Premium pull thru sites on a level, grassy field. All sites are full hook-ups with water, sewer, and electric. Sites are a full 80ft long and spacious enough to accomodate the largest rigs. We are located in a very rural part of Geogia and country quiet is one of our best amenities. We have a laundromat with Speed Queen machines on site. Verzion and AT&T cell phones and hotspots work great without buffering. We are 6mi from boating and fishing locations.

    Savanna Oaks review September 2021

This RV park is a basic very basic RV park. Although they offer full hook up it’s very marginal. I would suggest not getting a site in the front of the park since it’s close to a very highly traveled road and noisy. I would probably try another campground if I were to travel to Savanna again.

    Great Campground- Wide Open Spaces

Most sites are concrete with full hookups. Its a new campground so they are still getting a the amenities operational. Close to the interstate and Savannah. Be careful of GPS directions as they try to put you down a dirt/narrow road before the "real" entrance. I would definitely stay again. Thank goodness I didn't see any long term sites so it was nice for a change.

    Cute place right in town

This is a nice, clean park contently located on Highway 25 near downtown Statesboro, GA. They have full hook-up and level sites, most of which are pull-through. The wifi is strong. The grass is cut. The hosts are helpful and friendly. Parkwood is not a getaway, it's more of a stopover. We stayed here for a few nights while visiting family. There is an RV parts store nearby and all that Statesboro has to offer is within a short drive.

    Savannah South KOA

A good stop-over or to visit Savannah

The staff are nice, but mostly ignore you as they ride around the grounds. The campground is nice and clean and right on a lake with a multitude of waterfowl including a large number of swans. We love staying here when we visit family in the area. It's good for long-term or for short stays; and the prices are very reasonable. We have camped here a number of times in all seasons. I recommend this KOA.

    All around Wonderful

Campsites are large, and easy to maneuver, it has a red clay sand base to drive on but even when it's raining it's no issue. The people here are wonderful, the facilities are always clean, power is stable and so is the Wi-Fi. And if you like fishing and farm life it has both.

My entire stay has been enjoyable, they have both long-term and short-term.

    Newer campground

Stayed here after Christmas 2017. Very nice park with full hook ups. Sites are a little close and the fire rings are way to close to the RV sites. The park is adding new amenities. We had such a great time while visiting. The staff was great and they plan many events and cookouts for everyone. Can’t wait to go back.

    Precious Gem

We had a quick overnight on our travels towards our destination, but we loved it so much we re-routed our return home plans to come back and spend more than a nights rest. Staff are all so sweet and helpful. But most of all the facility has everything for a family fun time. Leveled, full hook up sites. Heated pool, hot tubs, awesome lazy river, fun kiddie water park, great lake side restaurant/bar. Will highly recommend and will definitely return!

Lots to do onsite and close to downtown Savannah

We wanted to stay at Creekfire for a couple reasons: (1) wanted somewhere we haven't been before but not too far from home and (2) I wanted to visit downtown Savannah...Creekfire met both those. It was an easy 4.5 hour drive, right off the highway and about 15 minutes from diwntown Savannah. The RV resort has lots of activities: heated pool, hot tub, lazy river (closed while we were there due to the cold), pool tables, ladder ball, ping pong table, outdoor chess, fishing (lake front sites are definitely our favorites), golf cart rental, picnic table and firepit at site and a shuttle to downtown Savannah on certain days. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Only a couple cons, but for us not worth taking a star away: very few trees (I would imagine in summer the heat and bugs would not make for ideal camping), restaurant is only opened Wednesday-Saturday (we were there Saturday to Wednesday). We will most definitely be back with friends that will be staying in their cabins!

    Happy Campers RV Park

    Quite, close to Ft. Stewart

Stayed there for 4 nights while bow hunting Ft. Stewart. It's only 15 minutes to the front gate. While we were there it seemed like a pretty quite place, even  on the weekend. Spaces are pretty close to each other and most of the park is permanent buildings which appear to be for long term residences.

We were not around during the day but at night it was plenty quite. No fire pit but we did have a picnic table. Parking was on a concrete pad next to the RV.

Cell signal was good on T-Mobile. I recorded download speeds of 57 Mbps and uploads of 1.79 Mbps.

All and all I'd stay there again the lady I spoke with to make the reservation was quite helpful and emailed a copy of the campground map with directions. We used Passport America so our rate was $24.50 per night. I'd stay there again and likely will on our next hunt.

    Great little place to stop.

Couldn’t ask for a better stop. Full hook ups, easy checkin, super friendly staff, & warm cookies at checkin. There’s a ton of stuff for kids to do paddle boat, swimming, water slide, park, dog run, fishing. Possibly best of all WiFi that doesn’t suck. Remote work is totally doable at this location even while kids are streaming some Netflix! Thanks for a great stay well be back.

    Great Family Campground

Overall this is a great new campground with plenty of family fun games. Two kid pools, full pool and hot tub, tennis and pickle ball courts, pool tables and table tennis, darts. Sites are a little tight and the foliage is young so there's no shade or separation between sites. Bathrooms and large individual shower rooms are modern and clean. There's a restaurant on site. The food is ok, nothing to write home about, but it's reasonably priced. Sites are fine concrete slabs with easy hookup. We were there in April and the bugs were difficult, noseeums and mosquitoes. We used it as a base to visit Savannah which was fine, but a bit longer drive than we hoped. Good Sam discount.

    Camp South RV Park

    A great gem in Georgia

Camp South RV Park served as a stop-over on our way home from a long road trip in 2020. It was quiet on the night we were there and we had the place practically to ourselves. Met one of the owners and his daughter who told us the story of how the campground was where she learned to hunt. Beautiful farm across the lovely pond. I really enjoyed the community garden and the community gathering area complete with TVs and a large fire pit and cooker. Adorable playground and large dog park with poop bags!! We will be staying again this fall. Can't wait!! Maybe it'll be a little cooler.

George L Smith II State Park Campground

    Beauty and history

General: Small (25-site) campground, all with electric/water plus a fire ring, lantern hook, and picnic table. There are also 8 cottages and four primitive campsites. Most have a water view. An interesting thing about Georgia state parks is that when you arrive and check in, you become eligible for a senior or military/veteran “rebate” which is not available when reserving.

Site Quality: All sites are gravel and level. Most sites had a step-down area with a picnic table, fire ring/grill, and lantern hook with plenty of room for a tent.

Bathhouse: Was very clean. Lights are on a timer so make sure you don’t end up in the dark too soon! Did not use the showers but they looked to be very clean as well.

Activities: Fishing, boating (kayaks are available for rent), and some short hiking/walking paths. There is an 1880s grist mill/covered bridge with self-guided tours but it was scheduled to close for renovations on October 31 (not sure for how long) so we were lucky we arrived on the 30th and were able to see it. The hosts were very available and friendly. The campground was about half full and very quiet.

Note that there is a sketchy RV “park” across the street from the campground. When we asked, the host said they keep a close watch on it and make sure no one from there accesses the campground; we did not experience any problems.

We were told the colors were early this year and they were like nothing we’d seen before so as a photographer, I loved shooting something entirely different! Also, we were pleasantly surprised there were no bugs so close to a swamp!

    Jack Hill State Park

Small State Park with a Golf Course

Jack Hill State Park is a small campsite in Reidsville, Georgia. The state park features a lake, golf course, mini golf and splash pad. There are less than 35 campsites on the property and each campsite was well spaced out. The bathroom/shower house facilities were clean and seemed quite new. They had 1 washer and dryer on site on the backside of the bathrooms. While it would be great if they had another set of laundry machines, I understand as it is such a small park and there is laundry very close by. The Park featured only 1 or 2 trails that were really short. I wish they had more trails. The Park was within a few minutes of basic amenities like gas, groceries and a McDonalds. The nearest Walmart was 30 minutes away in Vidalia, GA and it featured restaurants and tons of stores nearby. The campsite was $35 per night and we had full hookups.

    Savannah South KOA

    Nice facility

We only stopped over here for one night on our way south. It was a typical KOA with a variety of amenities - store, laundry, full hookups, propane, etc. Friendly folks at the check in and a helpful escort to our site. The bathrooms/shower were modern, clean, and well-equipped, plenty of hot water. They even had a built-in hair dryer on the wall, greatly appreciated! My only “complaint” as such is that being a KOA all of the sites are quite closely packed together without much privacy. The people around us were friendly and quiet which made it easier. One thing to beware of is that you will hear a freight train rolling thru at all hours on the other side of the road. We were here in February so didn’t avail ourselves of any outdoor activities while there, but there is a nice pond. The grounds are clean and inviting, an easy place to get to near major routes.

    Amenities out the wazoo

Gorgeous. Great layout. Tons of amenities. Slam dunk for a family with kids. Very much a “resort.” Pool, basketball courts, restaurant, gym, spa, market, gorgeous lake, etc. Five stars in that regard.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our only disappointment was the individual sites. We would rate them 3.5-4 stars max. They are level with full hookups, but very narrow and not much space for hanging out. Not very well landscaped or manicured like one would expect given the price and the overall beautiful aesthetic of the property. Our site was full of ants/ant piles, and sitting outside without being bitten was impossible.
