    Savannah South KOA

    Well Maintained Older KOA

Very convenient from I95. Good location for the Savannah area. Sites are very tight and graveled but level. Shower house is clean and well maintained; its location is at the entrance and a bit of a distance to the sites furthest from the entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful.

    Nice Quiet park

We stopped for one night heading home to FL. We had a site near the pool. It was so hot out once we got set up we took a dip in the pool. The sites are close together yet KOA's are like that. There is a nice lake with Swans. You can fish and kayak on the lake.

Easy access coming off the interstate I would stay here again.

    All the conveniences of home!

Had everything we needed to include a clean laundry room & restrooms/showers. A beautiful lake and nice area to walk. Our site 45 was nice and level for our 30 foot trailer. Wifi was great and also had cable hookup! Our only complaint, and it’s a minor one, was the dog area (Kamp K9). It was filled with loose, airy dirt. Our dog wouldn’t even retrieve her ball because it was covered in dirt. Maybe she couldn’t identify it or just didn’t want a mouthful of dirt. 🫤

    Very comfortable Campground

This is a quaint little KOA. Easy access and near Savannah For touring the city. Bathrooms are clean and you can sit out and enjoy the lake in the morning with you coffee. Not much space between sites but there are several places to go and sit.

    Campground was GREAT

We stayed 1 night. The campground was great, but our experience was good due to inconsiderate neighbors. 😭 Will give them another chance if we’re in the area.

    Camp South RV Park

    A great gem in Georgia

Camp South RV Park served as a stop-over on our way home from a long road trip in 2020. It was quiet on the night we were there and we had the place practically to ourselves. Met one of the owners and his daughter who told us the story of how the campground was where she learned to hunt. Beautiful farm across the lovely pond. I really enjoyed the community garden and the community gathering area complete with TVs and a large fire pit and cooker. Adorable playground and large dog park with poop bags!! We will be staying again this fall. Can't wait!! Maybe it'll be a little cooler.

    Camp South RV Park

    All around Wonderful

Campsites are large, and easy to maneuver, it has a red clay sand base to drive on but even when it's raining it's no issue. The people here are wonderful, the facilities are always clean, power is stable and so is the Wi-Fi. And if you like fishing and farm life it has both.

My entire stay has been enjoyable, they have both long-term and short-term.

    Towns Bluff Park

    Great campground

This is a county campground. It takes Pass Port America for Sunday thru Wednesday. If you’re looking for a resort campground, go somewhere else, this out in the middle of the woods, isolated, quiet and very nice. The lady that runs the museum & campground is very nice. She will do anything within her power to make your stay great. The sites are water & electric with a dump site as you leave 30/50 amp pull through/ back in. All sites appear to be close to level. Hazelhurst & Baxley are reasonably close. Gas/Diesel within 3 miles. Good food at Jan’s Chicken & Ma’s close to Uvalda.

    Quaint and Chill

I stayed here for 2 weeks in a travel trailer. Site is rocks which is better than sand, when it rains it does not get messy. Decent size site for pull through, but right next to neighbor. Family, pet, or sole rider friendly. Staff is helpful and front desk will accept packages. When checking in someone will escort you to site. Beautiful sunrise and sunset above park lake. Swans, ducks and geese on lake. Park is amazingly clean. I did not use showers or see them. Savanah is about a 30 min drive with traffic. But other than that I highly recommend and would stay again.

A good stop-over or to visit Savannah

The staff are nice, but mostly ignore you as they ride around the grounds. The campground is nice and clean and right on a lake with a multitude of waterfowl including a large number of swans. We love staying here when we visit family in the area. It's good for long-term or for short stays; and the prices are very reasonable. We have camped here a number of times in all seasons. I recommend this KOA.

    KOA Excellence

If you are looking for a pleasant greeting, clean roomy sites, lots of pull threw sites, full hookups, garbage pick up, pool, game room, swans, cabins of all sizes, this park is for you.

The only thing that may bother some is the road noise from I-95.

This park has a lot of very nice cabins of all sizes. It also has full time sites that are totally separate from the short term RVers. The full time sites were very well kept.

    Camp South RV Park

    Nestled in the woods

Campsites are widely spaced in this wooded area, with a dirt road entrance. Full hookups worked great, the internet worked fine, the bathhouse was clean and fairly modern. A great place for a day or two to get away from it all, cuz there's nothing nearby.

    Savannah South KOA

    Beautiful & Clean

This was our very first camping trip (2 adults, 2 kids & a Lab.) We arrived to friendly service & easily found our site (#6.) The tent sites are right on the water, which is home to swans, ducks, turtles & possibly gators too! The sandy pad for our tent was perfect, very level & comfortable. There was plenty of room for our big screened canopy, picnic table, chairs & fire ring. The views from the lake were wonderful & t made waking up to see the sunrise worth it every day.

This campground is about 30mins from Savannah & Tybee Island - both of which we visited & enjoyed.

The bathhouse & general store were very clean & located a short walk from the tent sites. There is also a playground & pool. The campground was quiet, we had no issues at all.

We will definitely be returning soon!

    Savannah South KOA

    Nice facility

We only stopped over here for one night on our way south. It was a typical KOA with a variety of amenities - store, laundry, full hookups, propane, etc. Friendly folks at the check in and a helpful escort to our site. The bathrooms/shower were modern, clean, and well-equipped, plenty of hot water. They even had a built-in hair dryer on the wall, greatly appreciated! My only “complaint” as such is that being a KOA all of the sites are quite closely packed together without much privacy. The people around us were friendly and quiet which made it easier. One thing to beware of is that you will hear a freight train rolling thru at all hours on the other side of the road. We were here in February so didn’t avail ourselves of any outdoor activities while there, but there is a nice pond. The grounds are clean and inviting, an easy place to get to near major routes.

Easy in and out to main arteries. Convenient to attractions and supplies. If you’re tenting road noise could be problematic

    Beaver Creek RV Campground

    Hidden gem

I stayed at Beaver Creek for a little over a month. It's very quiet but convenient to stores and about 15 minutes from Jesup Georgia which is a small but adequate town. Miss Shirley, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. I'll go back any chance I get. Randy C.

    Savannah South KOA

    Comfortable

The Savannah South KOA was nice enough and comfortable. Fewer amenities than most of the other KOAs we've stayed at, but this one is a tad smaller than the ones we usually stay in as well. It's a perfect stay for a night or two and conveniently located not too far from 95. Overall, the spaces are fairly crowded, but easy enough to get in and out of (the pull thru's anyway). There is a pond, which is nice if you are there long enough to drop a line. Bonus option for those that have pups is that there are a few sites that have private fenced patio spaces for pets. There aren't many though, and they are pricier. Overall, I would recommend it for shorter stays.

    Clean and quiet

Very shady, level, and accommodating is what I can say upon my first impression. Pet friendly and just over all very well groomed. Manager was there to answer questions upon arrival and later after set up. You can tell this place is maintained. I will come back.
