    Well Maintained Older KOA

Very convenient from I95. Good location for the Savannah area. Sites are very tight and graveled but level. Shower house is clean and well maintained; its location is at the entrance and a bit of a distance to the sites furthest from the entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful.

    Camp South RV Park

    A great gem in Georgia

Camp South RV Park served as a stop-over on our way home from a long road trip in 2020. It was quiet on the night we were there and we had the place practically to ourselves. Met one of the owners and his daughter who told us the story of how the campground was where she learned to hunt. Beautiful farm across the lovely pond. I really enjoyed the community garden and the community gathering area complete with TVs and a large fire pit and cooker. Adorable playground and large dog park with poop bags!! We will be staying again this fall. Can't wait!! Maybe it'll be a little cooler.

    Savannah South KOA

    Comfortable

The Savannah South KOA was nice enough and comfortable. Fewer amenities than most of the other KOAs we've stayed at, but this one is a tad smaller than the ones we usually stay in as well. It's a perfect stay for a night or two and conveniently located not too far from 95. Overall, the spaces are fairly crowded, but easy enough to get in and out of (the pull thru's anyway). There is a pond, which is nice if you are there long enough to drop a line. Bonus option for those that have pups is that there are a few sites that have private fenced patio spaces for pets. There aren't many though, and they are pricier. Overall, I would recommend it for shorter stays.

    Quaint and Chill

I stayed here for 2 weeks in a travel trailer. Site is rocks which is better than sand, when it rains it does not get messy. Decent size site for pull through, but right next to neighbor. Family, pet, or sole rider friendly. Staff is helpful and front desk will accept packages. When checking in someone will escort you to site. Beautiful sunrise and sunset above park lake. Swans, ducks and geese on lake. Park is amazingly clean. I did not use showers or see them. Savanah is about a 30 min drive with traffic. But other than that I highly recommend and would stay again.

    Camp South RV Park

    Nestled in the woods

Campsites are widely spaced in this wooded area, with a dirt road entrance. Full hookups worked great, the internet worked fine, the bathhouse was clean and fairly modern. A great place for a day or two to get away from it all, cuz there's nothing nearby.

    Peace and Quite

My daughter and I stayed the weekend here in Dec, 2017. It was a nice and peaceful getaway. Nothing really to do but hiking and hanging around the campground. The hosts were great and very attentive to our needs. It was cold at night and they made sure we had enough firewood. The bathrooms were heated and clean. Nice place if you just needed to get away for a few days.

    Savannah South KOA

    Beautiful & Clean

This was our very first camping trip (2 adults, 2 kids & a Lab.) We arrived to friendly service & easily found our site (#6.) The tent sites are right on the water, which is home to swans, ducks, turtles & possibly gators too! The sandy pad for our tent was perfect, very level & comfortable. There was plenty of room for our big screened canopy, picnic table, chairs & fire ring. The views from the lake were wonderful & t made waking up to see the sunrise worth it every day.

This campground is about 30mins from Savannah & Tybee Island - both of which we visited & enjoyed.

The bathhouse & general store were very clean & located a short walk from the tent sites. There is also a playground & pool. The campground was quiet, we had no issues at all.

We will definitely be returning soon!
