"HLC swapped over to 'site-specific' reservations..meaning that you must choose a particular site when reserving. The bath houses/comfort stations are brand new (including laundry rooms) and the camp hosts keep them spotless," shares George & Patty C.
Spacious outdoor areas: Many cabins include generous outdoor living spaces. "Our site was very spacious and we had plenty of room. We did notice all the slots on that loop were made to easily back in a camper," notes Karen C. about Indian Springs State Park Campground.

There are tons of things to do from Golf, hiking, zoo, laser show, food and you can hike the mountain or take a ride to the top. Water quality varies: Not all cabin water sources provide ideal drinking water. "There was some sediment in the water from the spigot and it seemed to have a bit of a chlorine taste. I would suggest bring your own water or a water filter," advises Karen C.
Cabin amenities differ significantly: The Tiny Cabin in Roswell includes unexpected features. "Not on the listing was an outdoor shower and my sweaty soccer son loved it. The ceiling fan and air conditioning unit do a great job of cooling in this GA heat," reports Tamra J.
Weekend vs. weekday experience: Hard Labor Creek provides very different experiences depending on timing. "The weekend nights were so crowded with cars spilling into the camp roads, loads of large groups at each site. Felt very claustrophobic. On weekdays the park became a (lovely) ghost town," explains Christina.
