Very clean & quiet. Spaces are a little too close. We had to park all the way to the rear of our site to be able to open our slides. Our neighbors next door had there slide all the way open as well as the awning attached to it. We didn’t even bother connecting the sewer hose.

Super nice folks, great place!

Last minute stop over after a bad wreck on 75. Close and easy to navigate. Very nice and very clean facility. Staff was wonderful. All sites are pull through and easy to get in and out. Nice dog park. Very clean laundry facilities. Wish we had time to stay a few days. Definitely recommend.

One of the Better Private Parks

Our RV GPS took us to 1/4 mile before the campground(CG) so we followed the CG’s website instructions and the signage to the entrance across from the Dollar Store. Check-in was easy and we proceeded to pull through site 143 with FHUs. It was very easy to pull in and utilities were nicely placed in the middle of the pad. The water pressure was good and they have a nice selection of cable channels. We got 2 bars on Verizon and 3 bars on T-Mobile. Their WiFi worked okay for a park this size. The sites are close together with no trees, so no issues with satellite use in this area. There’s a small fenced dog park at the front entrance and a couple of short trails to walk your pups. There are separate full-time and short time areas, which was nice. The full-time area was well-kept. They have a small camp store and propane. We were here to meet up with fellow Vanleigh RV owners to convoy to a rally and this was a great CG for our needs. We enjoyed our stay.

Mosquito heaven

This is a great place on the map for an RV camp ground- close to both I-24, and I-75, not to mention BassPro, SAMSCLUB, Cracker Barrel, Camping World. The list goes on. BUT! It must be in a flood zone! I've soaked 2 pair of shoes trying to walk the dogs. And usually mosquitos don't bother me. Here, they have eaten me alive!!! There are so many giant puddles, 2 and 3 inches deep. I wish I could recommend it, but I would NOT want to camp here again. Fingers crossed that we won't have to.

Great Stay

Overall good stay. Little bit pricey. But the spots are nice. We pull a fifth wheel toy hauler. Had a pull thru spot with full hook up. Restroom/shower house close by that was very clean. Contactless check in. Online reservation. We brought our dogs along, and everybody had a dog here with them. You do have a little bit of yard in front of your camper but your neighbor is a little bit close. Close to Chattanooga and the sites. We did the zoo, aquarium and Rock City. Long weekend trip.

Clean park with all hook ups. WiFi is poor-fair. The NOISE from the speedway is extremely annoying and it’s open till midnight! Other than that it’s ok.

We were a little surprised that this was in GA, since the address we had from Good Sam was for Chattanooga. We had a very peaceful visit with our pups and everything is well maintained.

Would most likely stay again

Clean , friendly no contact check in, sites are smaller than most. Neighbors are really close. Pet friendly. Huge water issue lots of standing water on a lot of sites , ours included . For one night it was manageable. Major drainage problem. Would most likely stay again , but would ask for a site with no standing water.

Decent little place to stop

Came through traveling from FL to OH for just one night. Easy checkin, helpful staff. Site fit our 44ft 5th wheel just fine. Pretty clean, easy to get to, easy to navigate, and close to gas, stores etc. Only thing I'd suggest is requesting a site not under water. Many had standing water. Ours was ok though.

Sunny and Open RV Park

Located just barely on the Georgia side of the GA/TN border, Holiday Travel Park has a community feel with its many full hook-up sites, most of which are extremely close together.

We are tent campers and there is not much here if you are not in an RV--they are nestled into the back of the campground, and have the benefit of a large grassy area so kids can run and stretch their legs, but quiet and privacy are still lacking. There is also a dog park located at the campground entrance so the four legged kids can run freely, and a playground next to the dog park, however it is in full sun so will be hot during the summer months--which is the perfect time to use the pool! Unfortunately due to COVID-19 both the pool and playground are closed at the time of this review, but it is good to know they are there once public spaces can open again.

This campground has two sides; to the right of the main entrance is decidedly more shady while the side to the left gets more sun, and it seemed as though the shady side hosted many campers who were there long term. We even saw one set-up where it looked like someone had a couple of tomato plants growing in containers! These sites are all very close together but still had a peaceful vibe under the shady trees. The sunnier side (sites in the 100s) is where the playground, tent sites, and large grassy field are, so while the sites are still very close together there is a little bit more public space for larger groups or families.

There are three camping cabins that rent to groups of 2 people, and two camping cottages; a loft for groups of 4, or a one bedroom for groups of 6. Cabins and cottages have beds (you must bring your own linens), electricity, running water, grills, picnic tables, and the loft has a small kitchen.

This is a great stop for campers who want to see the Chattanooga/Chicakmauga area, and it has great amenities for families. However this is not a campground for those looking for a relaxing experience in nature due to proximity to the interstate and surrounding neighborhoods, and the small sites and lack of privacy from fellow campers.

Primarily an RV park

I’m giving this campground 4 stars as an RV park, not as a good spot for tent camping.

There were pros and cons, so I’ll start with the cons- the campground is surrounded by what looked to be a mobile home community. If you stay in an rv site, you probably won’t notice this, but the tent with electric sites are on the outer loop, so we noticed, and heard commotion from the road and community well into the night. The tent/electric sites were slightly wooded, but most are basically in the back yard of said community, so you don’t really have the “camping in the woods” feeling. We were the only occupants of tent/electric and there was not a single tent in the primitive field. The campground is pretty pricey also, compared to other places I’ve stayed.

Pros- This grounds was very clean and well maintained. Every site has gravel, and they had a pile of fill gravel, so I guess they fill it in when it gets low in spots. The restrooms and showers were also very clean and well kept. While I believe there are some long term residents here, the sites were not very cluttered as many are at other parks.

The campground is really close to the exit, and several restaurants, and really close to Chattanooga. There’s a camp store with essentials, including ice and firewood. There’s a pool that looks to be very clean and well maintained.

This is a great spot to spend the night if you are visiting Chattanooga and just need a place to stay close by, but I would say if you are just wanting to camp out, you could find a better spot in the great outdoors for that.
