Nice RV park especially for extended stays

Arrived after hours, and a welcome packet was waiting for us. FHU, corner site with gravel and shade. Saw lots of birds and bunnies. We were in town to visit family. Lots of full timers, but they were all friendly. Didn’t have our dog with us, but lots of dogs at this park. Pool looked amazing big and screened, but didn’t use. Lots of local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Many Kayak launch areas at Crystal River Parks, however we did a tour guide with a clear kayak rental. Get Up and Go Kayak, approx $160 for few hours, great experience and a beautiful area to sightsee. Laid back community and somewhat artsy!

PROS: Speedy check in, wooded sites, nice grounds and responsive ranger.

CONS: A lot of full time residents with a lot of stuff around their site.

This could be a very nice park if they limited the parking at the sites.

Nice clean CG. Pool and hot tub well kept. Staff very friendly. When making reservations make sure to book towards the center of the park. We were in site 129A. The road noise was constant and loud. Site 127A was so close to us that our picnic table was beside their septic hose. Would stay here again just in an inner site.

Nice wooded park!

Enjoyed a nice weekend stay here on the maiden voyage of our new-to-us Class A. 30 and 50 amp service, with water, sewer, and cable hook-ups. Park has nice facilities, including a rec room, heated pool, and spa. Staff very pleasant and rate was great. Sites vary in layout, but mostly back-in with plenty of space. All have picnic tables and you can bring a portable fire pit if it has a screened enclosure. Will return!

Get the right site

Great spot with amenities and close to everything we want to do. Just make sure you don't get a site along the road.

Love our local camp

We stay here even though we live close just to get out. Always clean, friendly, quiet. We have spent several Christmases here and love this park. And we love our area.

Nice Quiet Campground

Nice play, quiet and clean. Not much to do at the campground, but not a far drive from all kinds of water activities and the town of Crystal River.
