Within a 5 minute walk are the Pepper Creek Birding Trail and Homosassa Wildlife State Park. Within a 5 minute drive are boat and kayak launch sites, groceries, restaurants, and coffee shops. Old Homosassa is popular for fishing, scalloping, swimming with manatees, the freshwater springs, and enjoying Florida's nature coast.
