Limited services: Stock up before arrival at these equestrian campsites. "Be aware that this campground is very far from the closest stores. You can buy firewood from the camp office but it is definitely worth the drive," advises Jessica S.
Cell reception challenges: Istokpoga Canal Boat Ramp And Campsite and other remote areas have limited connectivity. "Being from the area I am prepared for the weather. If you aren't familiar with central Florida summers, which is about 11 1/2 months of the year it's hot, humid, and loaded with bugs," warns Joseph M.

Utility limitations: Be prepared for varied hookup options. "Keep an eye on gas, there's one place about 6 miles from the park and town is about 15 miles away. Only 30amp hook up and no sewer, but there is a dump station. The spots are pretty level and the pads are crushed shells," notes Corey K. about Lake Kissimmee.
Low-hanging branches: Watch for tree hazards when parking large rigs. "Be careful of low hanging tree branches when backing in, and be aware that we had no cell service (this actually made us cancel another stay we had planned since we needed cell service for remote work)," warns Denise about Lake Kissimmee.
