Our Happy Place

We have been here many times before and it continues to be our favorite. Every weekend there’s a band or Dj at the beach at night and every visit we have made friends. There are usually food trucks and things for the kiddos like bounce houses during the day but just check the website for events (always subject to change so don’t hold that against them) People are always super friendly, kind and welcoming. The rules are what the standard should be for all campgrounds and even if you bend them a bit they aren’t jerks about it if you aren’t. We LOVE it and always hate to leave even though we pay the $25 to stay to 8pm on departure day, it’s never long enough. It truly is our happy place.

Wonderful RV Resort, close to everything

Our 4th of July family camping trip at Treasure Beach RV Park in Fenwick Island, DE was outstanding. As a family of five with young children, we were thrilled to find a campground that offered an abundance of activities and conveniences to keep everyone entertained and happy, and with restaurants and activities nearby.

One of the highlights of our stay was the wide range of activities available at the campground. The pool was a big hit with our kids, who spent hours each day swimming and making new friends. Additionally, the early morning kayaking allowed the kiddos to explore the safe, surrounding waters.

A well-equipped and maintained playground was another feature of Treasure Beach. The playground offered a safe and enjoyable space for them to burn off energy.

What made our experience even more special was the vibrant community of families at the campground. It was awesome to see so many families come together, creating a fun atmosphere. Our children had the opportunity to meet and interact with other kids, forming new friendships.

The campground's overall convenience was appreciated. The amenities were well-maintained, clean, and easily accessible. The availability of modern facilities, such as clean restrooms and showers, ensured our comfort throughout our stay.

Additionally, the staff members were attentive, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The location of the park was an added bonus. With its picturesque surroundings  we were treated to stunning views. The serene coastal vibes combined with the variety of activities created the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable 4th of July vacation.

A little bit of Paradise

Treasure Beach is well run, spacious, clean, friendly and right on the water! Who could ask for more? Our first time here and we will be back... Who knows we may even become seasonals 😅

Horrendous

Worst customer service ever. Expect to be met with vulgarity when asking a simple question. Seems staff do not properly communicate and no one knows what is going on. Apparently racing golf carts by staff are also an issue. Place is unkept and disorganized. Rental sites are very small and tightly packed. Just not a “happy” place to be. Seems this excuse for a bivouac is more of an angry full time trailer park than a RV campground. Anyone who cares to pay the unbelievable high rates believing they are taking care of their family should continue their research and stay at the local RV State Parks.

Typical RV resort

Very large RV resort. Seemed like they were mostly seasonal campers/RVs/tiny houses. Campsites were a reasonably good size, but close together. We were able to fit our 32 ft. Camper, a truck, a car and a tent on our site with ease. We backed onto red beard lake so we felt more isolated than some of the other sites (but also didn't have any shade).we enjoyed fishing in the stocked lake, caught some bass and large brim. Onsite ice cream/general store and laundry. Bath houses close every 2 hours for cleaning (Covid rules). Also, they have 2 pools and a splash pad but due to Covid they are only open for 2 hour time slots and you must get passes. People line up at 8am to get passes but I was able to go to the front desk in the afternoon to get passes for the afternoon/evening swims. Large play ground with jumping pillow and bounce house was a hit with the kids. Also had a beach front stage and fishing/boating/crabbing dock. Lots of golf carts zooming around. Staff was very friendly and helpful, park was clean. 5 minutes to Fenwick island beach, and great waterfront restaurants across the street.

HUGE Campground!

This place is massive! Our site was large and fairly easy to get into. They have updated some of the bath houses and are currently updating some of their sites. We were here over the Memorial Day holiday and the place was packed! Still, it was a fun and relaxing weekend. Most of our neighbors were friendly and quiet. The only complaint we had was the person riding around on a golf cart blaring music until well passed quiet time. We're all for a good time, but our little one was being woken up. I shouldn't be able to hear your music word for word over the noise of my air conditioner directly over my bed, at 12AM! Otherwise, great time and close to Ocean City, Md.

Family Oriented Campground

We rented a lot in Treasure Beach for 5 years and loved it!  Campground has a lot to offer: Store, Laundry, Boat Dock, waterfront, roads for bike riding, and a great staff just to mention a few!  It’s convenient to the beach and the OC Bus to take you anywhere on coastal highway in OC. I love this place!

Great price, close to everything!

Large campground, hard to navigate at night when first pulling in. Little shade, which may be an issue in the hot summer, but after summer is awesome! Level sites, some with concrete slabs. Close to the beach, restaurants and Ocean City. Nice playground and well stocked store. The only issue was if your bathroom isn’t working, they need more bath houses. They are building one that was near our site but it wasn’t open yet.

Great Campground

Treasure Beach is one of our favorite campgrounds in Delaware. Beautiful sites on the water and a lot of activities for the kids. They have a small beach where they have bands playing on the weekends. Two nice pools, one for adults. Jumping pillow, water balloons and a nice playground for kids. They have a four person site with a fireplace in the middle to share that is new. They are making a lot of new sites for 2019. Also a great place to crab right from your campsite or the beach.
