Description
The cottages at Indian River Inlet are located on the north shore of the Indian River Inlet inside Delaware Seashore State Park. The park is one of the Mid-Atlantic region's most popular recreational destinations, with a wealth of natural settings and six miles of ocean and bay shoreline. Visitors can enjoy swimming, surf- and deep-sea fishing, surfing, sailing, paddling, hiking, bird watching and much more.
Delaware now requires a fishing license to cover both salt water and fresh water fishing. This includes recreational clamming and crabbing. We are unable to accept Walk-Up reservations at this time for the Indian River Marina cottages. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you.
The sand bypass system will begin operating on September 15, 2026 to March 15, 2027. A portion of the beaches on the north and south sides of the Indian River Inlet will be closed to move sand from one beach to the other. Use caution and avoid construction zones if visiting the beaches in this area.

Use the park entrance at the north end of Indian River Bridge. Follow the road for 1/2 mile and the cottages will be on the left side. Please register at the Marina Office which is another tenth of a mile beyond the cottages.
