NOT A GOOD CAMPGROUND (WATERS EDGE FAMILY CAMPGROUND)

We stayed there a couple times never again. First bathroom are NASTY!!!!  management is VERY RUDE (MOE) the owner thinks she does know wrong..lol A lot of people drunk on there golf carts. We see alot of people sneak in NOT PAYING . Not to many activities for kids. Bingo there is Friday nights its a JOKE. I want to say the old lady calling the numbers her name is (dede or dee) she calls the numbers fast so she can go back to her site and DRINK. Mostly seasonals there. Roads are in rough shape. They have a small pool. The rec hall needs some improvements. There's a lady on site 8 does arts and crafts she brings all her junk there and works on it and spray paints all her JUNK so that's all you smell all weekend. We told the owner they did NOTHING ABOUT IT   she turns around and sells the stuff at some store. She should be doing all that stuff at her STORE NOT A THE CAMPGROUND.

Enormous and well maintained

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet. The salt water pool was clean. Booked a site for October before we left. Showers could use updating.

Incredible campground

Most amazing weekend with tons of woods (privacy is huge for us). Very friendly guests and staff! Amazing weekend with lots of fun for the kids and even the dogs! We’ve been to campgrounds with playgrounds worse than the waters edge dog park. Every one of us had a great time with the perfect campsite deep in the woods (still able to park my 26’ camper trailer). Swimming pool, great playground, among lots of trails and wooded area surrounding almost every site. Best camping weekends we’ve ever had have been at Waters Edge.

Local Family Favorite

Quiet and secluded but not too much. This is our families favorite camping location. On the pond at Waters Edge. When asked where they want to camp my 5 and 7 year old will always respond with Waters Edge.

Peaceful family campground

We weren’t sure what to expect- we picked this campsite last minute because of the location. It’s was really nice: our water and electric site was surrounded by super tall trees and although the sites were close, it didn’t seem crowded. Most of the campground has seasonal campers, but we never felt like we didn’t belong, which is my criticism of other campground like this. There is a little lake for fishing, kayaking and swimming if you like. The camp store is adequately supplied and they had just enough actives for the kids to be engaged. We will be back!

Nice place

This campground has very friendly owners and staff, nice sites and you feel totally relaxed when you stay there. Great place to get away! Relax by a fire, play bingo or other campground activities and maybe fish, kayak or swim in the lake. You’ll love it!
