Travel Port Campground

Travel Port Campground sits just off Highway 24, making it easily accessible for RVs and trailers seeking full hookups in the Lake George area. The campground provides electric, water, and sewer connections along with a dump station and WiFi access. Sites cluster together in the back section of the property among mature evergreen trees, away from the storage units visible from the road.

Campers report strong Verizon cell service and note the presence of a large playground for families. The facility doubles as RV storage, with additional camping spots available in the rear areas. Road noise from the nearby highway remains mild but audible. For those wanting dispersed camping, 11 Mile Canyon Dispersed Camping offers a quieter alternative nearby.

Lots of spots

Right off the main highway. Great Verizon signal. Water & dump station. Huge playground for the kids. Storage facility on site and also used for dry storage of RVs. More camping spots if you go further back to the right of the park. Lots of camping spots available but are close together.

Convenient location, mature trees, friendly owners

Don’t be put off by the storage units that can be seen by the road. The campground is tucked back to the southwest side of the property in the mature evergreen trees. Friendly staff. The other campers (mix of seasonal and regular visitors) were quiet and welcoming. Close to Eleven Mike State Park. Mild road noise, but it’s further off highway 24 than other campgrounds we noticed in the area.
