Lake side camping possible

The campground is one a large open field with some sites on the reservoir. No privacy between sites. Spacing between sites is okay. Stayed 2 nights at site 21 in the Bald Eagle Loop. This is a premium campsite - $58 per night, although got it for half price with senior interagency pass. Site had electric, but no water hookup. Site was flat for my campervan. Water station was a short walk from site. Vault toilets, with tp, also nearby; very clean. The site backs up to McPhee Reservoir. Firewood bundle is $8. The campground host, Belinda, is fantastic! The campground is on National forest land, but maintained by a private recreation company. Spotty T-Mobile & AT&T service

Great campground with Lake access

Great campground with lake access. We had a site that was only 300 feet from the water. The campground offers both electric and non hookup sites. The sites are a good size. Water is available within the campground. This area has less trees then the other campground on McPhee. I would advise bringing a shade tent or having an awning for some shade. It was a little windy too when we went. The area Is very family friendly. Hosts were great.
