Nestled just a brief 15-minute drive from Mesa Verde National Park's visitor center, Ramble at Mesa Verde has neighboring access to the Phil's World Simon Draw Trailhead system, perfect for intermediate to advanced mountain bikers. Settle into your campsite that is filled with juniper and piñon pine trees that have sweeping vistas of the national park in contrast with the vibrant hues of the surrounding red rock sands. Our campground caters to every type of explorer, offering a range of campsite options equipped with standard amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience.

If you’re leaving from Denver: Head south on I-25 S from Denver. Continue on I-25 S. Take US-160 W to US-491 S in Cortez. Take the US-491 S exit from US-160 W. Follow US-491 S to your destination, Ramble at Mesa Verde National Park If you are using Google Maps and your directions are leading you astray, you can type in “Phil’s World North Trailhead” and navigate to the campground. Ramble is about a 1 minute drive from the trailhead. If you’re leaving from Durango: Head northwest on US-550 N/Main Ave toward W College Dr. Continue on US-550 N. Pass through Hermosa and continue on US-550 N. Turn left onto US-160 W. Continue on US-160 W. Take the US-491 S exit toward Cortez. Merge onto US-491 S. Continue on US-491 S to your destination, Ramble at Mesa Verde National Park If you are using Google Maps and your directions are leading you astray, you can type in “Phil’s World North Trailhead” and navigate to the campground. Ramble is about a 1 minute drive from the trailhead. If you’re leaving from Moab: Head south on US-191 S from Moab. Continue on US-191 S. Cross the Colorado state line. Merge onto US-491 S.
